Samsung has demonstrated that it listens to its users and have brought back some popular features that the S6 models had dropped. Waterproofing and support for microSD card are features that appeal to Samsung users and both have been reintroduced with the S7 model.
The battery charging is fast and 50% charging is accomplished in only 30 minutes (wired charging). A new feature is the always-on display. Basic information like time, calendar and notifications are displayed in a power-saving mode. Hence, gleaning at the phone to check the time doesn't require a fully-illuminated screen.

Samsung Galaxy S7 review
In 2016, the Samsung Galaxy S7 was as good as phones got. In 2022, it’s been superseded many times – there’s the S10, S20, and even Note 20 now. If you’re shopping for a new phone, getting a more recent version may be best. But, the Galaxy S7 was still a phenomenal smartphone in its day.
I previously had a Samsung phone so when I cracked the screen, first choice was another Samsung. I chose this phone and to tell you the truth the cheaper previous phone was better except for the camera. This one feels like a toy. You cant move icons with a drag. Hard to adjust the home screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S7, already Oh, it's very real and it's very fast. But most importantly, it takes the formula seen with the last generation, and instead of completely revamping, makes the necessary tweaks to give a better overall experience.
