Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G review: The 'flagship-killer' with a Korean touch
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was launched as a kind of farewell to the Galaxy S20 line, replacing the "Lite" suffix of the previous generation. The model obviously came with some compromises compared to the original model, supposedly catering to its "fans" - hence the Fan Edition moniker.
Pros:
- 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 SoC is still fast in 2021, Good battery life, Good quality plastic finish, IP68 certification, 3x optical zoom
Cons:
- Not so fast charging, No headphone jack, 30x zoom is just a marketing gimmick

The Galaxy S20 FE delivers a fantastic 120Hz display, excellent cameras and solid performance for a very reasonable price. While the competition is heating up for flagship phones that cost less than $700, the Galaxy S20 FE remains be tough to beat.
Pros:
- Big 120Hz display, Available in six colors, Powerful triple-camera system, Solid performance, Affordable price
Cons:
- Fast charger costs extra, Optical fingerprint can be finicky, Battery life bit shorter than expected

Battery gets hot and doesn't last the day
I like the Samsungs, but found the battery got really hot the first day (probably as I was adding everything) and it doesn't last all day which is not ideal for a new phone

Free from gimmicks, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE appears to hit all the right notes. We think it could well be the pick of the S20 bunch - especially at this price point.

Cons:
- Fingerprint scanner a bit hit and miss
- No 3.5mm headphone socket

Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition - Navy SM-G780FZBDXNZ review
Currently, Samsung just offers the Exynos 990, LTE variant here in the Philippines which is priced at PHP 35,990. If you want the 5G version, you’ll have to source the Snapdragon variant, which is not easy to get since Samsung is yet to offer it here.
