I was in dire need of a new phone and this was packed with features and decently priced
Happy with this phone, sleek, lightweight, and easy to use. I'm a basic user so the phone probably has many more features which I have never explored
Phone is good. Fast and easy to use. Great for the price. Youll get your moneys worth and battery lasts ages
Samsung Galaxy A12 is the direct successor to the Galaxy A11 announced back in August of 2020. Aside the change in design, Samsung also made changes to the internals, the most notable of which is the use of MediaTek CPU instead of Snapdragon chip used in the old variant.
It lacks a bit for power, and some of its camera lenses are more useful than others, but these should be acceptable compromises for the price. That said, if you care more about, say, power than battery, there are better options, it all depends on what your priorities are.
Very cheap; Big battery; Expandable storage
Performance could be better; Not all of the cameras are very useful; Plastic build
Absolutely brilliant phone (great value) both in quality of use and aesthetically however I can not find any casting settings on the phone. It will only allow me to 'cast' audio via the smartthings app. very disappointing on that because I want to reinforce my home learning by casting lessons etc.
had to get new phone old one kept restarting got the A12 slightly bigger that my last one but sits nice in the hand it has a fingerprint button on the side just below the volume button which I would av preferred on the bottom or the back as I keep pressing without knowing then it says I have had 5...
Its an ok phone, does the job it needs to do, but dont expect a powerhouse because even with the specs it has, the phone does tend to get laggy,, but not to the point where its an annoyance.
The Galaxy A12 brings more than a facelift to Samsung's entry-level range....
With the Galaxy A12, Samsung has succeeded in creating a solid smartphone in the lower price segment. The mid-range phone, which was quite modest in our test, takes decent pictures with the main camera, is well built, and we also like the textured surface on the back.
solid workmanship; triple card slot; good connectivity (NFC; VoLTE; VoWiFi; FM radio; ...); long battery life; solid cameras
slow WLAN; low performance; speaker; display and PWM
