Samsung's TL500 camera creates extremely sharp and vibrant photographs, thanks to one of the highest-quality lenses you'll find in a point and shoot camera. However, its high price and small zoom lens makes it a camera more suited to intermediate and advanced photographers.
Pros:

- Sharp 3.0-inch AMOLED screen can rotate and swivel
- Menu structure is very easy to use and is well organized
- TL500's low-light capabilities are outstanding
- Camera works well in both advanced and fully automatic modes
Cons:
- Optical zoom lens is only 3X
- Manufacturer's suggested price is a bit high
- Noise can be excessive at high ISOs
- Maximum video resolution is VGA

Samsung TL500 (EX1) review

- the white balance sometime off
- unpredictable pink cast appear
- too much cyan color tone in the picture

Compact powerhouse
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Samsung EX1
An impressive all round compact camera available at a reasonable price point. Aimed more at the intermediate to professional photographer wanting a compact alternative to an SLR to hand when shooting.

I have two SLR, but neither can fit on my pocket. So the lost quality from the absence my SLR was the minimum possible with EX1. This P&S camera has so good lens and quality jpg, that you not do any post process. You can forget shooting in raw, even the camera offers this.

- for photos and the camera body
Cons:
- None bad
- except has a dull screen from fingers
- so needs cleaning a lot
- or no fongers on it

Everything it was advertised to be and more!
I purchased this camera to take photos for my on-line part time business. It has met and exceeded my expectations. It will photograph even in low light, however, I do get better pictures inside with the flash. Colors are crisp. This camera captures detail my other camera didn't.

Outstanding compact camera.
This camera never fails to surprise me. It performs well in low light when others would not. The range of features give you complete control and over the last year it has replaced my SLR without compromise.

Lets start with the good, for feature set, performance and price, we believe this Samsung's most successfully realized digital camera to date – and that includes its forages into DSLRs and compact system cameras. A strong statement to make - but why?
