This SSD replaced my previously purchased Kensington which kept losing the MBR and lost connection to the MB on my laptop. Got the Kensington due to the low cost, but this was a reminder that buying cheap will cost you more. The Samsung 870 EVO is a solid hard drive (excuse the pun), OS boots up fast and no disconnection from the MB ever since. This is really not a high price for such a quality drive, I should have gotten this from the start.

Great price and good product

At first i got a Kingston A400 downgrading from a 970evo M.2 so i can free up a slot thinking it would be good enough for a system drive. but then i realized the slow boot times and the system getting less responsive when a backup would be taking place. Got this and my boot times are alot better and my operating system is alot more snapper and responsive don't even notice a backup running any more.

Good performing, cheap and reliable SSD, ideal for replacing the legacy spinning rust in that old laptop that's struggling...
