New gospel homey, take six

New gospel homey, take six You are logged out. Login | Sign up If it was just pretty looking it wouldn't be much of a sports game, but it's got more than that. As well as two independently controlled weapon types (by way of each trigger), your melee attack is also your boost and your air dash, which...

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League Review

There are many different avenues that developers can take with VR technology, but a competitive online multiplayer shooter is likely not one of the first g

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League Review

Really interesting game... sausage

Loads of customisation; Excellent competitive shooting; Interesting and fun modes

Not For The Weak Of Stomach

Rigs has been a center point of PlayStation VR's lineup of games and its marketing for a few reasons: It's a PlayStation VR exclusive, developer Guerrilla Cambridge has ties to the creators of Killzone and Horizon Zero Dawn, and it represents an online multiplayer experience that would feel...

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League Review

The arena-based robot battles in 'Rigs: Mechanized Combat League' make it one of the most complete VR games you can play.

Fast; fun; easy to understand gameplay; High threshold for mastery; Rich array of online and solo gameplay options; More VR comfort concessions than most other games

Will depend on community for sustained play

Rise of the Machines

Battlefield 1 wastes little time in conveying the savagery of World War 1. The inevitability of death is the focus of the bleak story prologue. A burning man's screams can be heard at the start of every multiplayer match in the Argonne Forest.

Memorable campaign is impressively varied in objectives; stories; and characterizations; World War 1 setting is a perfect match for Battlefield-style gameplay; New Operations multiplayer mode is an instant classic that offers historical context; Multiplayer maps are as visually pleasing as they are...

Unintuitive user interface is a blemish in an otherwise exquisite multiplayer mode

RIGS Mechanized Combat League

If Rocket League and Titanfall had a baby, it'd be called RIGS Mechanized Combat League . Guerrilla Cambridge's latest offering is a PlayStation VR exclusive, and in our opinion it's probably the best launch title out now for the virtual reality headset; but that doesn't mean you should go running...

Ever since 1987 Arnie hit The Running Man, I've had an appreciation for brightly coloured future-sports. RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, a game that's half team-sports and half first person shooter, scratches that itch. That it's ended up exclusive to the PlayStation VR is no surprise.
