Resident Evil: Revelations

Resident Evil: Revelations for home consoles is a remastered version of last year's 3DS game which made a valiant effort to reconnect with the series' survival horror roots by including features such as limited ammo, dimly lit corridors and shambling enemies.

Decent, not outstanding.

I'm a Resident Evil fan, having played RE0, RE1, RE4, Code Veronica, Outbreak, Umbrella Chronicles etc...so I was excited to play Resident Evil: Revelations on my Wii U! Well, the game starts out real nice, on the ship it is spooky, quiet and the spirit of exploration is there, but none of this...

3ds or wii u your call

Same as 3ds version so no biggie. I see that Jill can't be bothered to run in this game any more like she did in the first games to sprint they is no sprint button at all which makes the game slow.

It has been a dark time for the Resident Evil series. The abominably disappointing Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6 utterly lacked the nail-biting action the series was once known for, making it impossible to see in them any glimmer of the franchise's former greatness.

Both your weapons and your enemies feel powerful; The Queen Zenobia is an intriguing location; Episodic structure keeps the pace brisk

Not scary; Most enemies are uninteresting; Too much backtracking

Resident Evil: Revelations

The SS Queen Zenobia is a peculiar location for a modern Resident Evil game. Tight, claustrophobic corridors line the confines of this desolate vessel. Stranded at sea with no communication with the outside world, those aboard are trapped, alone and with no means of escape.

Resident Evil Revelations Review – Wii U

Good enough to keep RE fans without a 3DS happy, and the story will keep you engaged despite the difficulty.

Resident Evil: Revelations (WiiU) - Review

It's funny how over its past few installments the Resident Evil franchise has gotten more love for its spin-offs than for its main installments. When it originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in early 2012, Resident Evil: Revelations was heralded as a breath of fresh air for the series by moving...
