Resident Evil: Revelations (Wii U) Review

I played Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS last year and absolutely loved it. Putting my fan bitterness aside (for the arguably more action oriented approach it has taken), I praised it for being a successful marriage of both the old style of Resident Evil and the new style of Resident Evil.

Up there with RE4

What's bad about this game? - well the worst thing its obvious origins on the DS system mean that the graphics could be better. But they are still not bad. And that's about it. What's good about it? - everything else.

Resident evil back to its roots feel, great game

This is a great Resident evil game, the atmosphere and gameplay takes you back to the horror feel of original Resident Evil, It fantastic. Also replay value with the expansive raid game mode loads of missions weapons to buy and difficulty settings.

This is an HD port of the 3DS game and by far the best of the home console versions. I love that you can play on the gamepad if someone else wants to watch tv. The controls are very good for this kind of game, the graphics are awesome, and so far (Have not finished it yet) the story is a lot of fun...

Resident Evil: Revelations

Resident Evil: Revelations was my most-anticipated game for the 3DS, and I was thoroughly impressed with it last February. When the HD console version was announced earlier this year, I was happy to see that the Wii U would be getting some exclusive content.

Achievements and unlockables are fun and doable; Continues to be an awesome RE game; Nice changes to Raid Mode; Off-TV play or TV + GamePad are both great

Aiming feels a little different; Final boss is more aggressive; less vulnerable; The kill room Campaign missions are still terrible

is a good test case for whether or not handheld games can make the transition to consoles. Originally launched to critical acclaim, it stood out because it wasn't just another Resident Evil action game plonked on the

Resident Evil: Revelations (WiiU) - Review

It's funny how over its past few installments the Resident Evil franchise has gotten more love for its spin-offs than for its main installments. When it originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in early 2012, Resident Evil: Revelations was heralded as a breath of fresh air for the series by moving...

Resident Evil: Revelations

The SS Queen Zenobia is a peculiar location for a modern Resident Evil game. Tight, claustrophobic corridors line the confines of this desolate vessel. Stranded at sea with no communication with the outside world, those aboard are trapped, alone and with no means of escape.
