Manufacturers who cater for the enthusiast crowd have often dallied with wireless peripherals - keyboard and mice, mainly - albeit with limited success. 2018, however, appears to be the year that the bigger names become serious about expanding this market.

Razer has really set a new standard with the Mamba. Over the years, there has been some criticism of using a wireless mouse for gaming vs a wired one, but the Mamba is one of a few rare exceptions of gaming mice where the wireless performance is just as on form as the wired.

The Mamba's shape and materials feel great in the hand, but wireless comes at a high cost: in dollars, weight, and frequent charging.

So after waiting for what almost 7 years, was the new Mamba all I had hoped Well as I have mentioned multiple times in the review I love the Deathadder's shape, so starting with that you can't really go wrong. Wireless peripherals are hit and miss but Razer is spot on with the Mamba.

Razer delivers on the performance and it is pleasing to feel the response time wirelessly with absolutely no lag. Being on the cutting edge, however, does come at a price of a $130.
