RAZER Black USB Wired BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

It appears effectively created. It's not nicely made. This keyboard lasted 5 whole hours ahead of revealing its true nature.Immediately after 5 hours of game play, the ŕ" key (which I use to respawn in-game) began to stick in the "pressed down" position.

Could be better

It's a mechanical keyboard with green backlighting. Very much a personal opinion, but this keyboard has Cherry MX Blue switches, which are the loudest possible switch for a mechanical keyboard. I type over 80 WPM, possibly upwards of 100 on a mechanical board.

Razer Blackwidow

I've used this keyboard for 8 months and I was not really impressed. Here are some of the pros and cons Pros: -Tactile feel -aesthetically pleasing Cons: -very easy to get dirty -dust is extremely visible -my arrow key suddenly lost its tactile feedback and now it is sticky.

Awesome Keyboard. Good for Battlestations!

This keyboard is pretty fantastic. I like the glow but don't really like the font of the letters but oh wells. the feel is pretty good and it looks awesome. Only thing I'm not giving it five was because two keys were placed on upside down.

Very good but annoyingly loud keys gives headache.

very good feedback, the keys are snappy but the sound of the keys is extremely annoying. Please go for the orange switches (which is hard to find due to short supply) or else just go with the keyboard which has cherry mx brown switches. apart from that everything else works as they it should.

Good But Could Be Way Better

Good keyboard if you want it to be a paper weight after long term use, Instead of this I would recommend ANY Cherry MX Key Keyboard instead of this, even membrane keyboards where better for long term than this over priced piece of garbage

Good actuation point, allowing for faster double tapping even though it is still has the tactile click feel; Good Weighting on the keys, this helps because i have only used heavy switches before

Switch Durability - Not as high as it says on the website or box; I have used this keyboard for ~2 months now and the keys have significantly warn down the weighting now feels as if it is a Cherry MX Black or Clear x2

The hardware is all as it should be, but a few cosmetic design flaws put this keyboard with potential down on the typing and gaming food chain.

: Programmable keys; on-the-fly macro recording; USB and audio/mic jacks; multi-level backlighting : Slightly confusing typeface on keys; backlighting doesn't apply to Shift+ keys; no light customising to go with macros

Razer BlackWidow gaming keyboard review: power play

The Cherry MX Blue switches provide a good amount of tactile feedback

-Simple design; Five macro keys

-Expensive -Clicky

key 'clickyness' was not consistent

Overall it's a nice keyboard but for the price and from Razer I expected a bit more quality control; I've had to return one and I'm still not 100% happy with the replacement. The first keyboard I had, the X-key didn't click like the others - it actuated fine just felt (for want of a better word)...

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

To a certain extent Razer has made its own life difficult with the BlackWidow Ultimate. This $125 mechanical keyboard offers an impressively responsive typing experience, but we don't find its backlighting or spare USB jack and audio ports enough to justify the cost next to the otherwise identical...

Cherry MX Blue mechanical-key switches offer one of the most satisfying typing experiences available; backlighting helps you game in the dark; on-the-fly macro recording; intuitive driver software

Backlighting and a few spare ports don't justify the $40 premium over the non-Ultimate BlackWidow
