Shocking quality
Mid-way through my 5th set using these headphones, the input jack connection cut out. It now only works if you press down and bend the lead in a certain direction. Spending £240 on a pair of headphones that do this during a 5th set is diabolical.

The top plastic is turning Orange within 1 month
I bought it 1 month ago and first of all the quality of the material is not good at all, the worst part is the top plastic part where the brand name is, right now all the borders on that plastic is turning Orange and I guaranty that I take good care of my Hdj2000, I dont know if is coming from

You did it again Pioneer
I've had the HDJ 1000s for about 7 years and I thought they were better than all the other headphones I have come across during those 7 years. Once they broke, I thought about getting the 2000s immediately. Since the build is now a lot stronger, I hope I'll use the 2000s for a very long time!

Outstanding product at an awesome price
I bought these for use in my djing and music production and I LOVE them. I wanted something to replace my old Dennon HP-1000's, which set the bar pretty high in terms of sound quality, but durability is an issue(eventually one the swivel joint will break, I did it in a year).
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Excellent Sound
- Professional Features
- Soooo Comfortable
- Versatile
Cons:
- A Little Quiet In Ableton
- Mite Need Mini Amp

"Great Headset"
Pioneer HDJ-2000 Reference DJ Headphones are great. I was really impressed. It was a toss up between the Pioneer's and the top of the line Beats by Dre headset. I was really leaning towards the Beats by Dre headset, but I had to think about that choice, because everyone wants the beat by Dre set.

Sucks!
This is terrible! They break so easily and are cheaply made. They sound like crap. My $10 headphones sounded better than these. They look huge and stupid. Plane and simple do not buy them!!
