Pioneer HDJ-2000
The Pioneer HDJ-2000 is the flagship model of Pioneer's latest line of headphones for DJs. At $349 (list), it is significantly more expensive than the previously reviewed Pioneer HDJ-1500, and while it's sometimes difficult to justify the difference in cost between different models of the same line,...

Better than Industry Standards!
Comments about Pioneer HDJ-2000 Professional DJ Headphone: Got it as a gift from my wife on 12/10/09 for my DJing gigs and feel in love with these headphones! I have been using the HDJ1000s before this and the sound quality is huge.

time will tell re. durability, but these have great sound, great isolation & are super-comfortable (the padding on the headband & the easy-rotating earpads are both done very well). still not sure the price is justified (they were a gift), but these are a big upgrade over my DH1200s.

I love it
I use hdj 2000 since November 2010 and nothing works very well to say a perfect sound quality. the price is correct given the quality of the product and plans to stay in this brand of headphone for the next.

Outstanding product at an awesome price
I bought these for use in my djing and music production and I LOVE them. I wanted something to replace my old Dennon HP-1000's, which set the bar pretty high in terms of sound quality, but durability is an issue(eventually one the swivel joint will break, I did it in a year).
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Excellent Sound
- Professional Features
- Soooo Comfortable
- Versatile
Cons:
- A Little Quiet In Ableton
- Mite Need Mini Amp

You did it again Pioneer
I've had the HDJ 1000s for about 7 years and I thought they were better than all the other headphones I have come across during those 7 years. Once they broke, I thought about getting the 2000s immediately. Since the build is now a lot stronger, I hope I'll use the 2000s for a very long time!

Shocking quality
Mid-way through my 5th set using these headphones, the input jack connection cut out. It now only works if you press down and bend the lead in a certain direction. Spending £240 on a pair of headphones that do this during a 5th set is diabolical.
