OnePlus X review: beauty on a budget
OnePlus knows how to make waves. It did it with the OnePlus One, it did it with its invite system, but can it do it again with the low-cost OnePlus X? The OnePlus X looks great, but there's more to it than its appearance.
Pros:
- Excellent build quality
- Affordable price
- MicroSD expansion
- Great software features
Cons:
- Weak camera performance
- Average battery life
- 2013 processor

OnePlus X Smartphone Global Version 16GB Black, Parallel Imported 1 year PB Warranty, Work with 2degree...
Thank you so much for the speedy delivery - the phone arrived safely at my front door in one piece. (well, several pieces but you know..). I found it very difficult to find the OnePlus X in black so I'm extra impressed.

OnePlus X (unlocked) review: Beautiful and cheap, with a baffling lack of wide LTE support
The OnePlus X is one of the best budget phones of the year, but its limited LTE support make it a crapshoot for US customers who want high-speed data. I was ready to crown the OnePlus X as one of the best budget smartphones of 2015. Compared to other $250 unlocked devices, it's more powerful than the Motorola Moto G, more beautiful than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 and runs a more updated OS than the Huawei P8 Lite. With its stylish design and faster speed than its rivals, I was ready to buy into the OnePlus motto to "never settle."
Pros:
- The inexpensive OnePlus X is fast, beautifully designed and has some nifty customizable features.
Cons:
- The glossy handset is slippery and has limited compatibility with key LTE bands in the US.

OnePlus X Onyx
If you really care about buying a good looking smartphone on a budget, then the OnePlus X is the best that you can get right now. On the other hand, if you want top of the line, uncompromised performance, then the Asus Zenfone 2 is a better buy.
Pros:
- Good looking
- Well built
- Good camera
Cons:
- Glass on both sides
- Snapdragon 801 is outdated
- Power users won't like the battery life

- Oxygen OS is an attractive take on Android

- No fingerprint reader or NFC
- Mediocre camera
- Lacks proper LTE support in United States

It seemed like a dream on paper: The specs of the company's excellent debut flagship squeezed into a smaller, well constructed shell. In reality, OnePlus has cut some corners here.
