Dear Vlad, I like Android phones, but I don't like carrying around enormous bricks of technology - what's the phone for me?

OnePlus X (unlocked) review: Beautiful and cheap, with a baffling lack of wide LTE support
The OnePlus X is one of the best budget phones of the year, but its limited LTE support make it a crapshoot for US customers who want high-speed data. I was ready to crown the OnePlus X as one of the best budget smartphones of 2015. Compared to other $250 unlocked devices, it's more powerful than the Motorola Moto G, more beautiful than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 and runs a more updated OS than the Huawei P8 Lite. With its stylish design and faster speed than its rivals, I was ready to buy into the OnePlus motto to "never settle."

I was ready to crown the OnePlus X as one of the best budget smartphones of 2015. Compared to other $250 unlocked devices, it's more powerful than the Motorola Moto G , more beautiful than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 and runs a more updated OS than the Huawei P8 Lite .

OnePlus X Smartphone Review
OnePlus' X is actually a well-configured mid-range smartphone at a fair price. However, it is combined with a bitter aftertaste seeing that the former OnePlus One high-end smartphone is superior to the X model in all aspects but its 64 GB version only cost 30 Euros (~$32) more.

After having released its flagship killer OnePlus 2 back in August, OnePlus recently released the OnePlus X in November. The OnePlus X is the first mid-range smartphone offering from the stables of the Chinese OEM OnePlus.
Pros:
- Slippery
- Fingerprint magnet
- Capacitive buttons are not back lit
- Average camera
- No NFC
Cons:
- Low cost
- Great design and good build quality
- Great performance
- Battery will get you through the day on average usage
