The OnePlus 8T could have been a new flagship phone-killer, with its strong specs, excellent display, and super fast charging. But the cameras don’t quite measure up to other leading phones. When I first got my hands on the OnePlus 8T, I really wanted to love it.

There is no doubt that OnePlus 8T is a solid smartphone. The OnePlus 8T comes with a premium design and offers all the high-end specifications that one expects from a high price smartphone. Along with all this, the inclusion of 65W fast charging adds more weightage to the smartphone.

Readability is quite good in low-light conditions; Colors are quite accurate overall; The colors are quite accurate in videos; OnePlus 8T feels smooth in every use case.

The OnePlus 8T is a great phone. It packs in all the essential features without making too many compromises. It has a great display, long battery life with super-fast charging, and OxygenOS grants you a smooth experience that closely resembles pure Android.

It’s not much of an upgrade but the OnePlus 8T is a solid phone, and software tweaks see a marked jump in low-light camera image quality.

OnePlus has a history of updating its cameras and ultimately delivering solid results. The company has already issued one that improved things, so I’ll be keeping tabs on any enhancements going forward.

OnePlus is the definition of "disruptor" in the smartphone space — or it used to be. Early devices like the OnePlus One and OnePlus 3 blew minds without burning wallets. Over the years, that value proposition has dwindled as competitors rise to the occasion, bringing us to 2020.

Screen Exquisitely smooth and even. I'm really, really picky about displays, and this is perfect; Battery life Good-to-great, though it varies a little more than I expected; Performance The 8T is the usual OnePlus speed demon, even without the "plus" version of the chipset.

No official IP rating The T-Mobile version is IP rated, but the unlocked version doesn't claim to be; Odds are it's the same, but without certification we can't say, even though cheaper phones like the S20 FE have an explicit IP rating.

OnePlus has always been very proud of the raw specs of its phones, and the OnePlus 8T is no different. The phone is better specced in almost every way than the OnePlus 8 it succeeds from earlier this year.
