OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

The OnePlus 8T could have been a new flagship phone-killer, with its strong specs, excellent display, and super fast charging. But the cameras don’t quite measure up to other leading phones. When I first got my hands on the OnePlus 8T, I really wanted to love it.

Bright and smooth 120Hz display, Super fast charging, Slick and unobtrusive software, Solid performance, Premium design

Disappointing camera performance, No wireless charging

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

Appearing on the market in October 2020, the OnePlus 8T is the company’s somewhat smaller and more affordable version of the OnePlus 8 Pro, which came out in April 2020. Endowed with a quad-camera, encased in Gorilla Glass 5, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and running Android 11,...

Readability is quite good in low-light conditions; Colors are quite accurate overall; The colors are quite accurate in videos; OnePlus 8T feels smooth in every use case.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

I’ve done dozens of smartphone reviews from budget Android devices to the very best iPhone and Samsung Galaxy on the market. As a matter of fact, my daily driver has been the iPhone 12 Pro Max since its release.

Slim, clean, and modern design, Great premium feel and build, Amazing 120 Hz Fluid AMOLED display, Oxygen OS is the best looking version of Android, 12GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 865 give great performance, Cameras are great, not the best in the industry but great, Excellent battery life, Great...

Pre-installed screen protector is sticky and not worth keeping on, Dual speakers sound just okay, better than most for sure but not as good as some flagships, Cameras are great but some users may look to more expensive flagships for slightly better cameras

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

OnePlus 8T sports faster charging slightly upgraded camera system, and a smaller body even if you won’t notice it too much from the 8 Pro. Noticeable takeaways though are wireless charging. But I don’t see as a big reason to jump from say a OnePlus 8 and definitely not an 8 Pro .

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

Overall, the OnePlus 8T is a pretty decent flagship for RM2699. It has a simple design, smooth OxygenOS UI, powerful chipset for mobile games, and fantastic battery performance. However, there are several other options in this price range, so it's definitely not going to be an easy first choice for...

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

Review Six months after OnePlus released a flagship, it followed with a slightly upgraded refresh of the same device. You can distinguish these souped-up variants from their predecessors by the "T" in the name. One such device is the OnePlus 8T — an affordable 5G powerhouse.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

A glorious 120Hz screen, fabulous performance and incredible battery life and charging – what more could you want from the OnePlus 8T?

Fast 65W charging; Excellent battery life; Nice design

No zoom camera; Lacks microSD card expansion; No water resistance

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

There’s not a lot of change for the OnePlus 8T VS the flagship launched a few months ago. The improvements here are very minimal VS the OnePlus 8, and there’s no clear performance jump this time around.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

The OnePlus 8T is a great phone. It packs in all the essential features without making too many compromises. It has a great display, long battery life with super-fast charging, and OxygenOS grants you a smooth experience that closely resembles pure Android.

120 Hz display; Long battery life; Fast charging w/ 65 W Warp Charge; Reliable fingerprint sensor

Cameras are decent at best; 1080p display; Lacks wireless charging; Lacks official IP rating
