OnePlus has done it again: a superb smartphone at a very appealing price point. Although it has one or two weaknesses, and doesn't improve on its predecessors in any major way, the all-round package of the OnePlus 8T (and its retail price) mean that this is a winner.

The OnePlus 8T doesn’t change the game – particularly if you bought OnePlus 8 – but it is another great handset from the brand, with a stunning display, a unique look, good battery life and a camera that impresses.

The OnePlus 8T offers small improvements compared to its already very good predecessor. For example, it offers a display with a 120-Hz refresh rate, a macro camera with a higher resolution and an additional lens that provides more data for photos.

At the end of the day, the OnePlus 8T is a phone that is a joy to use and that brings a revolution in charging that has really gone undeservedly under the radar. If camera is not on the top of your list of priorities, this is an easy phone to recommend.

The OnePlus 8T is a conservative update that's made more convincing by a price drop compared to the 8, making it an incredibly competitive budget flagship - but an upgrade to the main camera is now long overdue.

The OnePlus 8T makes up several of the weaknesses of the OnePlus 8, and for the price point, I do not see any serious drawbacks. The absence of wireless charging is not a deal breaker as I value fast efficient wired charging more, which OnePlus 8T offers.

There is no doubt that OnePlus 8T is a solid smartphone. The OnePlus 8T comes with a premium design and offers all the high-end specifications that one expects from a high price smartphone. Along with all this, the inclusion of 65W fast charging adds more weightage to the smartphone.
