OnePlus 8T Review

If you want pure performance, an excellent screen and some of the fastest charging around then the OnePlus 8T should be near the top of your list. The lower than usual for a flagship price makes it an even more tempting prospect.

Lovely display; Seriously fast charging; A performance champion; Already on Android 11;

No IP rating; No wireless charging; Fairly useless secondary cameras;

OnePlus 8T review: Fully charged

This OnePlus flagship has more in common with the OnePlus Nord than it does the OnePlus 8 series with which it shares its name, with a flat screen, rectangular camera protrusion, and glossy green glass rear. OnePlus has delivered yet another stunning example of fluidity and performance, in a package that's reasonably priced.

Brilliant display - we like that it's flat; Super-fast charging; Speedy and smooth performance; Oxygen OS 11 is a refreshing take on Android;

Cameras could still improve; No wireless charging; No official IP rating for dust/water resistance;

OnePlus 8T Review

2020 started with some of the most expensive smartphones ever, designed to appeal to a booming pre-pandemic economy. COVID-19 slammed on the brakes, causing Apple and Samsung to make sure they had less-expensive options. OnePlus, uncharacteristically, hasn't been quite as nimble. When CEO Pete Lau said there would be no OnePlus 8T Pro, that could have been seen as a return to form for a company that used to only release one phone at a time. But the OnePlus 8T carries a $749 Pro-level asking price, a steep increase versus the $599 7T and the $549 6T. That makes it no longer a "flagship killer" but a true flagship that needs to go directly up against Apple's and Samsung's similarly priced phones. The 8T has excellent network performance on T-Mobile and some unique features like super-speedy 65W charging, but ultimately, it doesn't deliver more value than the $699 Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.Design and Display The 8T is just about the same size and shape as the OnePlus 8 at 6.33 by 2.91 by...

The OnePlus 8T is a solid Android phone with a terrific software experience and the fastest charging we've seen.

Excellent software; Strong network performance; Super-fast charging

Cameras are just average; No wireless charging; A little too expensive for what you get

OnePlus 8T 128GB Aquamarine Green KB2000G review

OnePlus 8T is a compromise. Therefore, one should keep the tongue straight in the mouth if one is considering a purchase. For most, the OnePlus 8T will be among the best mobile phones on the market, while consumers with specific needs should look for something else.

Lightning fast charging and long battery life despite bright screen with 120 Hz refresh rate. Among the fastest mobiles for the price, and the camera takes good pictures in wide format as well as in the dark, or when you get really close to your subject.

Missing wireless charging and IP certification. Miserable front camera and the primary camera lacks optical zoom. Too many Google apps degrade OxygenOS.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

The OnePlus 8T is yet another top-spec, very well-priced, excellent phone from the Chinese smartphone brand. It has a great 120Hz screen, good build, attractive design, the very best of performance, good battery life, 5G, dual-sim and a good set of cameras.

great screen; top performance; good battery life; incredibly fast charging; good camera; great software; alert slider; top-notch build; 5G; dual-sim; superfast in-screen fingerprint scanner.

no headphone socket; no telephoto camera; no formal IP rating; only three years software updates; no wireless charging.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

The OnePlus 8T is a good upgrade for all OnePlus users who are on phones that came before the OnePlus 7. In fact, I won’t be surprised if OnePlus 8 buyers feel a bit shortchanged after this one because it is, by all means, a better phone, coming just months after they got theirs.

OnePlus 8T review review

Plenty of power and a sensible enough price; Improved low-light photography and video; Crowd-pleasing size; Super-fast charging;

Disappointing battery life in 120Hz mode; Less fancy design than older OnePlus 8;

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

OnePlus 8T is a terrific addition to the cluttered upper mid-range market, taking on Google and Samsung at every turn. While it may not be a OnePlus 8T Pro, the 8T still offers stunning performance and strong value for money.

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

The OnePlus 8T arrives at a time where companies are taking steps back from $1,000+ phones and giving customers new options that aren’t missing much in the $700 price range. This is an area of the market that OnePlus has long been a part of, only they didn’t have much competition in the past...

OnePlus 8T 128GB Lunar Silver KB2000S review

This is the official OnePlus 8T review as conducted by SlashGear. The OnePlus 8T may not agree with you if you’ve become accustomed to living the “Pro” smartphone life. Over the past few years, smartphones with “premium” features have clobbered our pocketbooks and looked to capitalize on the latest...

Bright; sharp; colorful display (flat; too!); Display 120Hz image refresh rate; Fast wired charging (with included charger); Simple software with great potential for advance users; Cameras capture great photos in most conditions

Punch hole seems like less of a problem with a flat display; No 3.5mm headphone jack; 5G limited to N41; N78; N79 (no mmWave)
