OnePlus 7 review: designed to tease you into a Pro model

4.0
Verdict: This year for the first time, OnePlus presented not one but two smartphones. While other manufacturers have been offering Plus or Pro models for some time, this is new ground for the Chinese manufacturer.

Cons: No wireless charging, No IP certification, No Warp Charge

OnePlus 7 review: designed to make you want the OnePlus 7 Pro

4.0
Verdict: OnePlus pulled some sleight of hand with its naming of the OnePlus 7 series. It announced the 7 Pro like it's the new addition to the lineup - and that is indeed a phone full of new things - but the novelty for OnePlus' strategy is that the company is now doing an Apple-esque upcycling of older...
Pros: Good ergonomics for a large phone, Buttery-smooth performance, Pretty display, Strong battery life
Cons: No wireless charging or waterproofing, Faces tough competition from Google's Pixel 3A, Mirror finish is a fingerprint nightmare, Camera bump is annoyingly prominent

OnePlus 7 review: Overshadowed but not outdone

4.0
Verdict: Despite its problems, and the fact that OnePlus hasn't updated the physical design of the phone, the OnePlus 7 still possesses all the credentials to compete with the best-value phones on the market.
Pros: Speedy performance, Better value for money than OnePlus 7 Pro
Cons: Similar to OnePlus 6T in many instances, Lacks IP rating and a 3.5mm headphone jack

OnePlus 7 review: A superb update to the 6T and still the best value smartphone around

No reviews
Verdict: In a long-expected move, OnePlus launched a more premium device earlier this month with a more premium price tag to boot. US consumers were presented the OnePlus 7 Pro as the only option for a brand-new OnePlus phone, but other markets have also been treated a with a cheaper alternative.
Pros: Performance It's buttery smooth and incredibly speedy, just as advertised, Design and build The waterdrop cutout is still relatively inconspicuous and the fit and finish throughout are top notch.
Cons: Cameras, again Processing is still not on par with the best in the business, and with only two rear cameras, you don't get the same versatility as the 7 Pro or even competitors in a similar price bracket like the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Honor 20 Pro, Design, again A glass back without wireless charging is...

OnePlus 7 review: The champion of cheap and cheerful

4.0
Verdict: So, you won't get a special camera that pops out of the top like the OnePlus 7 Pro, or one with a privacy invading super-zoom like the P30 Pro, but if you buy the OnePlus 7 (for the bargain price of £499 exc VAT at time of review), you'll have almost everything else that other top brands have.
Pros: Cheap, Long battery life, Snappy processor
Cons: Uninspiring design, No IP rating

OnePlus 7

No reviews
Verdict: The OnePlus 7 Pro might be getting all the hype, but it's not the only phone the Chinese company has announced today. The regular OnePlus 7 is also now official and it's looking to entice buyers who are still rocking a OnePlus 3, 3T or 5.

OnePlus 7 Smartphone: Phone with dual-camera setup in review

4.0
Verdict: The OnePlus 7 is a little bit more down-to-earth than the OnePlus 7 Pro: It seems like it wouldn't need any big changes at all compared to its predecessor. This is true, the OnePlus 6T was already a very good smartphone and the successor offers even more in many aspects: A slightly longer battery...
Pros: great battery life, very fast charging, bright, contrast-rich display, stylish design, very smooth operation and gaming, doesn't throttle, several LTE bands, good stereo speakers, very fast storage
Cons: weak telephoto lens like with the predecessor, comparatively slow Wi-Fi, makes creaking noises when twisted, no IP certification

OnePlus 7 8GB 256GB

No reviews
Verdict: , but the company hasn't forgotten its roots in providing high-end phones at mid-range prices. Case in point, the new OnePlus 7. Coming in at the same price as its predecessor, some £499, the OnePlus 7 is basically a refresh of the Pop a OnePlus 7 next to a 6T and you'll struggle to notice any...
Pros: Blisteringly quick performance, lovely design, same price as the 6T
Cons: Rear cameras aren't as good as we'd like, only Mirror Black finish is available

OnePlus 7

4.2
Verdict: The OnePlus 7 is either a more affordable, less exciting OnePlus 7 Pro ( $700 at T-Mobile USA ) , or a souped-up OnePlus 6T ( $579 at Amazon ) , depending on how you look at it. At £549 in the UK (with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, as reviewed), it sits below the £699-equivalent 7 Pro, and a touch...
Pros: The OnePlus 7 shares the Pro's powerful processor, has a great battery life and comes with a more affordable price tag
Cons: Its lack of a pop-up selfie camera and additional wide-angle lens means it's more of a marginal upgrade over last year's OnePlus 6T than a variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro. There's no expandable storage or headphone jack, either

OnePlus 7 review: Evolution, not revolution

4.5
Verdict: By launching at the same time as the impressive OnePlus 7 Pro, the standard OnePlus 7 has been seen as a sort-of "lite" phone. It's the device that barely got any mention at the launch and hasn't been talked about much since. But don't let that fool you into thinking it's a bad phone.
Pros: Very good value for money, Fast and fluid performance, Solid build and premium design, Stereo sound is improved
Cons: Not much has changed since the 6T, No wireless charging, No official IP rating

Easier to live with than the OnePlus 7 Pro...

5.0
Verdict: I initially purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro but found it very difficult to live with. It's top-heavy, the curved screen reflects and distorts light and the form factor is just generally uncomfortable. I swapped it for a OnePlus 7 and this simpler, more robust design hits the mark.
Pros:
Cons:
