The 3T is ever so slightly pricier at £399, but then it does have double the storage and RAM - meanwhile the £369 Galaxy A5 2017 isn't as impressive on the specs side, but has the might of the Samsung brand behind it (Note 7 notwithstanding), and is arguably the more beautiful of the two handsets.

The OnePlus 3 set a new standard for reasonably priced smartphones when it was launched in June 2016. Offering an incredible combination of premium specifications and a $500 price, it carved out a whole new category; it was so good it had no close rivals.

Despite being only a couple of years old in the Indian smartphone market, OnePlus has a rather strong foothold in the arena, all credits to its debut "flagship killer" smartphone, the OnePlus One.

The OnePlus 3T will be unfairly compared, for now at least, to the phone that came before it. So let's ignore it. On its own, the OnePlus 3T is everything a modern smartphone should be; slim, fast, and responsive, with above average battery life and cameras that produce stunning images.

This is, without doubt, the best Android smartphone I've ever owned. I generally opt for the market leaders, but after being very disappointed with my last phone (HTC One M9), and impressed with the reviews this phone has been receiving, l decided to take a gamble and upgrade. I'm so glad I did.

An excellent buy, if you are planning to get the 128GB variant then you might as well try for the Limited Edition OnePlus 3T Midnight black for Rs. 34,999.

The OnePlus 3T is the flagship killer. The OnePlus 3's crown is being taken by the 3T. What was best about the OnePlus 3 is now made even better by the 3T: an upgraded Snapdragon 821 processor, a larger battery, an improved front camera and various software adjustments.
