OnePlus 3T Review

The OnePlus 3T is hands down the best high-performance Android phone you can buy on a budget.

Blazing speed from Snapdragon 821 chip; Impressive cameras; Beautiful metal body; Smooth Android experience with regular updates; Very fast charging battery

Not water-resistant; Some software issues need fixing

OnePlus 3T Smartphone Review

The OnePlus 3T is a worthy successor to the OnePlus 3 . However, the task has not been too challenging for the manufacturer because the previous model was already one of the best high-end Android smartphones. The changes for the OnePlus 3T are also pretty small, so this is still the case here.

high-quality chassis; high-end performance without throttling; good camera; fast storage; fast WLAN; dual-SIM; notification lever; USB Type-C; up to 128 GB internal storage; decent voice quality with noise suppression; good display; Quick-Charge; long battery runtimes

only LTE Cat; 6, different frequencies depending on the region, no storage expansion, no FM radio, webcam not as sharp as before, no Infrared, speakers with some static, no headphones in the box

OnePlus 3T Review : Budget Boss

The OnePlus 3T is a device that's stood on the shoulders of its predecessor to get ahead of the pack of top-tier smartphones on the market today. Instead of releasing an all-new smartphone, OnePlus has opted to chop their update schedule in two.

Pricing is still great; even $100 over OnePlus 3; Hardware is high quality; AAA production; Camera is amongst best in any smartphone; OnePlus supports ROM development; does not void warrantee for root; Display is top notch

No waterproofing; no dust-proofing; Phone's industrial design feels caught between safe and unique; OnePlus-made cases look cool; but offer little protection; Fingerprint scanner not quite as quick as Pixel XL or iPhone 6s/7

OnePlus 3T review: the flagship killer

The OnePlus 3T is the flagship killer. The OnePlus 3's crown is being taken by the 3T. What was best about the OnePlus 3 is now made even better by the 3T: an upgraded Snapdragon 821 processor, a larger battery, an improved front camera and various software adjustments.

Good camera; Fluid; customizable interface; Quick "Dash Charge" system; High performance

No design update since the OnePlus 3; No microSD slot; Only Full-HD (1920x1080) Screen Resolution; No Android Nougat yet

OnePlus 3T review: One of the best Android phones gets a little better

With a better processor, battery, and front camera, the OnePlus 3T is a tune-up of an already great phone.

Great specs for the money; Larger battery ensures a full-day's charge; Adds 128GB option

Costs $40 more than the OnePlus 3; Higher-resolution front camera doesn't add much to selfies; Still no Verizon or Sprint support

OnePlus 3T Review: The Best Unlocked Android Phone for the Money

The previous OnePlus 3 was already the best phone for the money, and while the 3T's $439 starting price has upped the ante a bit, improved performance and an extra 2 hours of battery life are worth the extra $40.

Excellent battery life; Great performance; Superfast Dash charging

Limited to GSM carriers; Display could be brighter

OnePlus 3T review: rapid iteration

But now you can't buy the OnePlus 3. Instead, OnePlus has decided to replace it with an even better version: the OnePlus 3T. The 3T shares many of the same qualities as the 3, including the same materials and design; same size and resolution display; same 6GB of RAM; and same rear camera.

Great build quality; Fast processor and performance; Long battery life

Doesn't work on Verizon or Sprint; No certified water resistance; Quick charging limited to included cable and power brick

OnePlus 3T Review

Should you get the OnePlus 3T instead of its similarly priced midrange smartphones? Yes. But when compared to flagships, we can't help but think long term. Software-wise, there's nothing to worry about as the dev community of OnePlus is very much alive and supportive but when it comes to hardware,...

Amazing build quality; AMOLED display; Outstanding performance; Capable cameras

Heats up quickly; Select LTE bands; No support for LTE 700MHz Band 28

OnePlus 3T mini-review: A great phone gets a bigger battery and price tag

Well that went quickly-the OnePlus 3 was a great phone, and when you don't change much, there isn't much to talk about. We doubt anyone would notice the camera and performance changes between the 3 and the 3T, so at the end of the day, you're really paying $40 for more battery life.

$439 for a 64GB phone is a fantastic price; The aluminum unibody is still great; Speedy SoC (a Snapdragon 821) and surprisingly speedy storage; just like its predecessor; It still has all the right extras: a fast; accurate fingerprint reader; USB Type-C; and NFC; Customizable; lightweight Android...

No MicroSD slot; Slow monthly and major Android updates; If you're going to upgrade a camera; upgrade the rear one
