Nokia E72
Tweet The Nokia E71 was an impressive business device, perhaps the Nokia device that has made the most sense over the last couple of years. The E72 carries with it this heritage, with a full QWERTY keyboard and sharp focus on messaging.
Pros:
- Messaging is a dream with its compact full QWERTY
Cons:
- The 2.4-inch display is underwhelming

Nokia E72 (Unlocked)
One of the reasons I love my job is because there's no single answer to "what phone should I get?" The best phone for me may be different from our Editor's Choice, which may be different from what's best for you.
Pros:
- Very elegant
- Good call quality
- Excellent e-mail capabilities
- Free, global GPS navigation
Cons:
- Fuzzy photos
- Not a very high-res screen
- Ovi App store is a mess
- Watch the Nokia E72 (Unlocked)

Nokia E72
We liked the Nokia E71 a lot, so we had high hopes for the successor, the E72. But the E71 appeared on the scene in the middle of 2008 and a lot has changed since. Can the E72 cut it in the modern QWERTY phone market?
Pros:
- Well connected
- 3.5mm jack
- free Ovi Maps with navigation
- keyboard character layout
Cons:
- Screen resolution could have been higher
- OS seemed buggy at times
- design around the optical Navi Key flawed

Taking a fairly large leaf out of BlackBerry's book, the Nokia E72 is tailor-made for the business user, evident in its looks and a seemingly Windows-inspired use of the Symbian operating system.

Nokia E72
The Nokia N series has been a little bit hit or miss lately, but the company's E series of business smartphones has consistently delivered winners, and it looks like Nokia has another solid player on its hands.
Pros:
- The Nokia E72 brings upgrades such as a faster processor, more memory, and a better camera
- The phone's design is both sleek and sturdy
- It offers excellent messaging capabilities, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS
Cons:
- The optical trackpad doesn't work very well
- Speakerphone volume is a bit low
- It has a lower-resolution screen compared with some of its competitors
- Without carrier backing, the E72 carries an expensive price tag

Excellent Phone as described
If you want to buy an unlocked phone for use outside the US, this one is fine - the E72 is the latest Nokia model. The cost for one in Turkey is almost exactly what J&R sells it for. However, if you want to wait you can buy unlocked phones just about anywhere in Europe.
Pros:
- Durable
- Easy To Use
- Strong Signal
Cons:
- NONE

Nokia E72 Review
Back in the day, phones were made for either business or pleasure, with no crossover between the two. But these days, even the most businesslike of phones require the fun features to make them all-purpose devices.
Pros:
- Excellent email facilities
- fast GPS
- huge batter life and one of the best keyboards we've used
Cons:
- If you're an Outlook user but not on Exchange
- you won't be able to access your calendar
- and third-party applications aren't well integrated

The Nokia E72 is a nice phone. It could be a lot better if it was not running Symbian but that's just my opinion. If you are a Nokia user already you will love the E72 and be very happy. Is it as good as the other front facing QWERTY devices out there at the moment?
