Nokia E72...
So, getting back to the E72. It’s a very good phone. If you have the E71 and have a free upgrade due, get it. But don’t break your back for it, because it’s not good enough. Nokia: please give us E71 owners the E72 we are hoping for.
Pros:
- Better camera (moving from 3.2 to 5 megapixels)
- But exactly the same screen
- Yes, it has a faster processor (369MHz ARM11 bumped up to 600MHz) and more internal memory â€" but the only time you’ll notice this is when loading cumbersome websites
Cons:
- But the software? Ugh
- Buggy as hell
- There’s a whole bunch of bits written by one group (Ovi Mail) that doesn’t talk to another group (device’s built-in POP mail support), so both compete.

Good phone if you do not consider it as a smartphone
I upgraded from Nokia E63 to the E72 which has improved OS and is better looking. Perhaps for the first time, I feel frustrated about a cellphone. I have been using the phone for a month now, and I still cannot wrap my brain around the notion that Nokia would release a product with such poor built...

Nokia E72 smartphone
The Nokia E72 smartphone is a replacement for the popular E71 . It's a commendable smartphone and benefits from a few nice improvements, but E71 owners have little incentive to upgrade.
Pros:
- Stylish design
- QWERTY keyboard
- optical navi key
- Nokia Messaging
- faster processor than predecessor
- 3.5mm headphone jack
Cons:
- Symbian lacks polish compared to alternatives
- small display
- optical navi key can be annoying when Web browsing

Nokia E72 Review
There are a number of small hardware changes, including a camera upgrade to 5.0 megapixels, a tweaked keyboard layout, an Optical Navi Key (trackpad) in the centre of the D-pad, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The E72 will be available from Q3 2009 at a cost of €350 (before taxes and subsidies).

Nokia E72
As far as call quality goes, we couldn't find any differences between the E71 and E72. However their ring tones do sound differently because of the relocated speakerphone in the E72; let me put it this way: the E72 sounded a bit muffled in my pocket, but was louder when put face-up on a table.

Nokia E72 - Enjoying the Upgrade
We know it's hard to part ways with an old flame, but change is a necessity. The question is - will the Nokia E72 live up to its predecessor's name, and prove that the Finnish company's E-series device wasn't a one-hit wonder? We share our thoughts and analysis of the E72 within this full review.

Nokia E72 review
There's always a risk when a high-interest product is announced that by the time it hits shelves its moment has passed. The Nokia E72 has been just such an anticipated smartphone, with eager E71 owners keen to upgrade to the Finns' latest QWERTY marvel; problem is, at nigh on six months between...
