- - Display
- - Performance

Nokia E72 Review
Nokia E72 Review The drum roll around Android has made smartphones based on this Google OS a current craze among mobile buyers. Nokia, which has brought out a number of its Android also-rans of late, has recently brought out its new offering – the E72.

Good phone if you do not consider it as a smartphone
I upgraded from Nokia E63 to the E72 which has improved OS and is better looking. Perhaps for the first time, I feel frustrated about a cellphone. I have been using the phone for a month now, and I still cannot wrap my brain around the notion that Nokia would release a product with such poor built...

Meh...
This was my first proper smart phone. I liked the full keyboard on it a lot as I use my phones for email a lot. I was disappointed though when I started to notice some shortcomings. Firstly I felt that as Nokia progressed the more they cluttered the UI and it became less user friendly.
Pros:
- Full keyboard
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Irritating UI
- Cheap feel to the build
- Screen too small for serious smart-phone needs

Nokia E72...
So, getting back to the E72. It’s a very good phone. If you have the E71 and have a free upgrade due, get it. But don’t break your back for it, because it’s not good enough. Nokia: please give us E71 owners the E72 we are hoping for.
Pros:
- Better camera (moving from 3.2 to 5 megapixels)
- But exactly the same screen
- Yes, it has a faster processor (369MHz ARM11 bumped up to 600MHz) and more internal memory â€" but the only time you’ll notice this is when loading cumbersome websites
Cons:
- But the software? Ugh
- Buggy as hell
- There’s a whole bunch of bits written by one group (Ovi Mail) that doesn’t talk to another group (device’s built-in POP mail support), so both compete.

Overall i think it's a really good phone with some great features, I recommend!
I have had this phone for around 14 months so i suppose i'm a good candidate to write a review on this phone. This was an upgrade on my contract from my previous phone which was the sony ericsson W595i.
