Nokia 7.2 TA-1196 review
My main takeaway is that Nokia is following a familiar path. With its 4.2 and now 7.2, the company is using the same formula Moto has used over the last few years.

Looks good annd performs well
Got this phone as my previous phone broke. For me the biggest plus is that it doesn't come with lots of software you don't use and not get rid off. The only minus is that you can't use wireless charging

As a normal Android smartphone, it’s absolutely acceptable in this price range. The capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back works better than Face ID and in-screen fingerprint scanners. The battery life is average. The performance is tolerable.

HMD Global does a lot right with the Nokia 7.2, but the smartphone shows some weaknesses in detail in some areas. There's a full dual SIM option plus an extra space for a microSD card, but the latter doesn't support exFAT. The display is both bright and high-contrast, but uses PWM.

There’s a lot to love in this wallet-friendly handset
Pros:
- Great value if you get it for under $500
- Solid hardware
- Android One is as always a joy
Cons:
- Camera could be better
- Not super snappy
- Assistant button gets triggered by accident

The Nokia 7.2 brings the best of Nordic design sensibilities and pairs it with a competitive camera and stock Android. Unfortunately, the rest of the package doesn't quite match up.
