Nokia 6 review: HMD Global isn't strutting its stuff yet
HMD Global takes the plunge. After debuting at the MWC in February, one of Nokia's three smartphone newcomers has finally arrived on the US market. For now, the Nokia 6 is the most high-end model offered by the brand, and its price, around $230, is a declaration of war on the competition.

Nokia 6 review: Affordable mid-ranger is on fighting form
The Nokia 6.1 is Nokia doing what it's best known for: making affordable, quality devices. This mid-ranger's solid build, better-than-rivals' power, and flexibility with a microSD slot and 3.5mm headphone port, all make it a capable daily phone that's a pleasure to use.
Pros:
- Build quality
- Powerful hardware for the price
- Good value for money
- Android One is bloat-free and great to use
Cons:
- 16:9 display might be seen as dated
- Speaker performance isn't great
- Low-light camera performance isn't great

My favourite Phone Make back in the market, and they haven't skimped on this great Mid Range phone... It has 64GB HDD and 4GB RAM, making it the best Mid Range phone out there...

The Nokia 6
The ad isn't too obnoxious, right? The breaks in the silver border are a sleekly disguised antenna. If you are looking for a budget-priced Android phone that doesn't feel like a budget phone and that doesn't come loaded with a lot of carrier installed bloatware, the Nokia 6 is a great option.
Pros:
- Excellent Nokia build-quality running Android
- Dual-SIM is perfect for those who carry a work and personal phone or who travel
- Large battery
- Great camera
- Option of paying an extra $50 to remove ads Android on a Nokia phone
Cons:
- Uses a microUSB port rather than Type-C
- If you are a heavy gamer, the processor may not be quite fast enough for you

Nokia 6 review: budget phone, budget experience
The last time you could buy a phone with the word Nokia imprinted on it in the US, Barack Obama was a mere two years into his second term as president, the Chicago Cubs still hadn't managed to break their century-long dry spell in the World Series, and Apple had yet to sell a single smartwatch.
