Nintendo Switch
It switches like magic! One second, you're using Nintendo Switch as a home console, and the next you're taking it with you as a portable system. It's totally awesome no matter which way you use it.
HD to handheld
When used as a home console, the Nintendo Switch lets you play a great range of cool games in immersive HD. If you wish to use it in handheld mode, the experience is still pretty stunning thanks to a multi-touch capacitive touch screen which can display a resolution of 1280 x 720.
The joy of Joy-Con
The Joy-Con controllers really give Nintendo Switch an edge on similar gaming devices. One of the best features is HD Rumble; imagine your Joy-Con is a glass. With HD rumble, you'll feel the difference as you add ice cubes and pour water into the glass. This sense of touch goes way beyond the normal vibrations you might have experienced in other controllers. Meanwhile the IR Motion Camera can detect shape, movement, and the distance of objects captured by the camera, adding an extra thrill to your gameplay.
A word to the grownups
Parental controls on Nintendo Switch allows you to manage how your family interacts with the device.
Hours of fun
Excellent battery life means the fun can last for more than six hours, depending on software and usage conditions. For example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for about three hours on one charge.
A mountain of memory
There's plenty of memory to play with here. 32GB of internal memory, while storage space can be extended by simply using microSDHC or microSDXC cards.

Nintendo Switch Review
The Nintendo Switch has went from prototype to reality and we've had over a week to look at it from every angle. Here's our Nintendo Switch review
Nintendo Switch Review: Plays Zelda Great, Doesn't Do Much Else
After a shipping snafu with Amazon, I spent the better part of a day trying to track a Nintendo Switch down. I experienced exactly what many hopeful Switch owners will experience.
Nintendo Switch down. I experienced exactly what many hopeful Switch owners will experience. I hounded Craigslist, and haunted Best Buy, and waited in a too-long line at GameStop.
The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo's successor to the Wii U , a home console with some great ideas and games that fell flat in execution. But the Switch has more in common with the iPad , or the slew of Android devices that have captured mainstream attention.

Nintendo Switch Review: How Nintendo Won Me Back
Okay, I'll admit it. For the last two console launches, I've been a Nintendo hater. But that changes with the Nintendo Switch. Priced at $299, the Switch is a truly innovative product that has the ability to literally switch between play modes.- Console offers three modes of play
- Solid build
- Ease to setup and use
- Can't charge the Joy-Con controllers separately
- Small launch title catalog
- Screen highly reflective in the sun
- Expensive accessories
A Bright Future for an intriguing console
I think this console is a brilliant idea for Nintendo. It consolidates their handheld line with their home console line and gives birth to the Switch, which would have to be the most powerful mainstream portable game systems ever made, which can then be played on the comfort of your couch in front...
Awesome
Beautiful to look at. Loving every inch of this console ❤❤❤
Nintendo Switch review: a brave and fascinating new console
Nintendo remains a puzzling phenomenon for a lot of modern gamers. The company never makes powerful consoles, or cool consoles; it never pushes the processing envelope, and it always seems a little eccentric when it comes to online infrastructure.
Nintendo Switch: Portable gaming jukebox of joy?
It's hard not to review a brand new console against what you'd like it to be, rather than what it is, going on such little evidence. Nintendo make great games and once made great consoles, but of late have lost the pulse of the public.
Nintendo Switch review: Return of the king?
There is always plenty of attention afforded a new games console launch, not least when it has Nintendo slapped across the front. But after the relative failure of the Wii U, it seems there are more eyes on the company's new machine - the Nintendo Switch - than ever before.- Joy-Cons are versatile and well-built
- easy to dock
- handheld mode works well
- up to 1080p 60fps graphics
- you don't need the pricey accessories
- Only 32GB without microSD card
- no game in the box
- no media streaming apps at launch
- limited launch line-up
