Super sharp lens, very fast autofocus
Super lens, Would recomend for sure as this proved to be a single lens I used in my entire trip without much need to change lens which I had to do earlier.

Refurbished or New? I can't tell.
I was very impressed when I opened up the package, it looks brand new. Did some test shots inside and outside and again I was impressed. With the exception of some distortion at 18mm focused at about 4 feet which by the way was easily corrected at about 23mm I was very pleased.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Easily Interchangeable
- Great value
- Metal Mount With Seal
- Nice Bokeh
Cons:
- Plastic casing
- Weak Casing

18-140 zoom
"I bought this lens, used, from Henry's on July 11th. I have a 16-85 and an old, but very sharp, 35-105 which I use on a Nikon D7000. I learned a long time ago to let your shooting dictate what lenses you buy.

Perfect walk around lens with the right camera.
Great range, excellent photos. If you use the settings "RETOUCH MENU >DISTORTION CONTROL" on Nikon cameras like the D7100 and the D3300, the optical distortions disappear. Definitely a lens to keep on your camera for most purposes.

typical white box glass.
I ordered the glass instead of my broken original Nikkor kit lens. This lens came in a white box: no guides, no references. As for quality and functioning - I did not see any difference- hope it will last for some time.

18-140mm lens (DX)
Love the lens, this replaces my 18-55mm lens, for the time being. I am an amateur photographer.

Nikon 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED DX VR AF-S Nikkor
What incredible value, especially if you don't buy the full retail boxed item. Good value if bought as part of kit, or like me, as a Nikon refurbished model (and with a 20% discount on top of that). I am using this with a Nikon D5500 and also have a D90.
Pros:
- Good zoom range
- very sharp for a lower cost zoom
- great value
- makes a good kit lens and would do as an only lens when travelling
Cons:
- High vignetting and distortion (corrected in camera for jpg or in lens profile in Photoshop)
- No focus distance scale
- Mean not include the lens hood as standard

Love This Lens!!!
Love my new lens It is a solid all around lens. Definitely worth investing in a zoom like this one for flexibility as a photographer. I found this 18-140 lens perfect for my Nikon D7100.

Great walkabout lens failed after 2? years
I have had a lot of fun with this lens and taken a lot of my best photographs. At the wide end it's almost always wide enough and the telephoto end is pretty good. I have no doubt specialist lenses could be better but this one is fantastically convenient and you'd have to be awfu' picky to criticise...
