Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24mm f/1.4G ED review
A wide angle lens with a bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 should be of interest to those who like shooting by available light as the brightness fades, or indoors.
Pros:
- Excellent optical quality
- Fast focusing
- Superb build quality
Cons:
- Occasionally struggles to focus accurately enough for use at f/1.4
- Slight barrel distortion
- Pricey

JUST GET IT!
It is about time Nikon gave us a pro quality 24mm lens. You can toss out your 28mm and 35mm lenses and just use the 24 f1.4! I love wide and this is the best Nikon has ever come up with. Clean, sharp, saturated color in low light, hand held! JUST GET IT!

Nikkor AF-S 24mm f/1.4 G ED (DX) - Review / Lab Test Report
The Nikkor AF-S 24 f/1.4 is an impressive lens. At large apertures it produces very sharp images in the image center with somewhat soft corners wide open, but stopped down it shows very good to excellent sharpness across the whole (DX) frame. Distortion is very low and CAs are moderate.
