Love this lens

I have been using a prime lens for close up work for years. I purchased this lens several weeks ago and it has not come off the camera yet. It is well made, focus quickly, and is incredibly sharp. If you are on the fence get the lens. You will be glad you did.

I worried about image quality, but now my favourite len

When you think about it, zoom lenses were always about compromise. You trade a little image quality for the flexibility of being able to change your focal length 'on the fly' without removing the lens. Glad to say, those days are now gone.
Pros:
  • Consistent Output
  • Quick Focus
  • Sharp Focus
  • Strong Construction

Love this lens

Tack sharp through out the range. It compliments my 16-35 for land and city scapes. Shooting D810 with this couple gives me stunning images.

Nikon 24 to 120 F4G ED VR Lens.

The savings made are fantastic however as this was advertised as a new lens I was and am disappointed to find no manual, & most importantly no sign of any warranty documents. Delivery was spot on so thumbs up for that. Thank you.

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Review

The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR is the standard zoom lens for full-frame Nikon cameras. It has solid range and image quality, but shows quite a bit of distortion. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR ($1,099.95) is one of a handful of standard zoom lenses for its full-frame SLR series. It sits above the AF-S Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR and below the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR in both price and performance, offering a longer zoom range than both and an f-stop that stays the same as you zoom. It's a solid choice as a starter lens, but pro users will likely gravitate toward the shorter, faster 24-70mm. If you're willing to look at third-party options, the Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM doesn't have the same range, but is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper and exhibits less distortion. Design The lens itself is pretty compact, especially when you consider its zoom range. It measures 4.1 by 3.3 inches (HD) at the 24mm position, weighs just under 1.5 pounds, and supports 77mm front filters. The barrel telescopes out as you zoom, roughly doubling in length at 120mm. A bayonet mount hood is included, along with front and rear caps and...
Pros:
  • Solid sharpness at wider angles
  • 5x zoom range
  • Constant f/4 aperture
  • Image stabilization
Cons:
  • Noticeable distortion
  • Dim corners at wider angles
  • Some softness at f/4 when zoomed

The lens works as it should and I'd highly recommend it. I needed the lens urgently and I ...

I generally do not leave reviews on the products I purchase but this seller went out of his way to help me out. The lens is spectacular and since i had nothing in the wide range for my Full Frame Nikon D610, I picked out this lens.

Very sharp

I'm a professional photographer, who only used prime lenses. This is the first zoom I found sharp enough to use. I don't have to remove the lens for almost all of my work, eliminating dust on the sensor due to changing lenses.

it works nice with a D750. before I had a D7100 and 1-140 (210 53mm eq.) so now I miss the long end. maybe I go for the 28-300 some day.
Pros:
  • constant f4
  • zoom range
Cons:
  • not such a long tele-zoom end

Nice lens for daily photography.

I read couple reviews on this over internet when decide to look for a nice lens for my daily photo shooting needs, I decide to give it a try. The picture is very good to me though my skill has more room to be improved. I will recommend this lens to everyone.
