Garbage

Completely garbage for someone using Ubuntu Linux. No support... not detected... does not work.

Junk

Netgear forums confirms that the WNA3100 and similar units suffer a very, very high failure rate. Most do not even work out of the box.

Small size

Doesn't work; Seems to have major issues with software and drivers; Even when it does work, will still limit speed to wireless G or slower

This did not improve my wireless performance at al

I am very disappointed. There seems to be no way to diagnose the problems in the slow internet connection.

Overpriced and Cheaply Made

This product does work. However it may not be worth the frustration to set it up when you can buy a more user friendly version for less.

Plug and Play Install (most cases) Secure connect feature

Issues connecting with windows 7 Cheaply plastic case

Great for an older computer without wi-fi card

This adapter cured a longstanding problem with my Acer PC which worked only sporadically with the cheaper fingernail - size USB dongle we replaced. In typical Netgear fashion it also included a stand and extension cable if the user has free USB ports in less accessible places, with the cable acting...

Works well, though the build is nothing to rave about

I bought one of these for a desktop PC, I've found adapters like this tend to work better than the cards you install inside the PC. One advantage of this model is you do get a bundled cradle this allows you to move the position around and improve the signal pickup, and it also avoids the problem of...

Reliable, Works well, stays connected good speed

Used this on both XP, then Windows 7. Used for a couple of years. No problems, easy enough to set up. I can't compare it to anything else. At 60' I get %95++ signal (N).

Stays cool; doesn't drop connection

None really; It hasn't been a bottleneck

Using to extend wireless distance

Cable company no longer provides this appliance which permits my desktop to pick up a wireless signal in my residence. Cable company recommended Best Buy as a provider suggesting that a suitable device could be purchased for $20-25 but Bust Buy rep recommended the Net Gear device and at $40 it...

Uses little space

Costs a lot more than failed Linksys model

glad to have it

i purchased this item because i could not access the internet in my apartment. on the advice of a future shop associate i purchased this item and can now get online from my room. this item has to be in the window but that is alot better than no service.

"Overall good product"

Easy to set up and use. Doesn't take up much space. Father-in-law bought one after i got one and was able to set it up easily on his own. Looks good instead of others i have seen that honestly look a bit out of date.

Easy to set up

Expensive at some places
