NETGEAR R6300 AWESOME PRODUCT A+++++++

Awesome product I cant even use the ac wireless speed yet but it has preformed flawlessly and makes my "N" connection fly. I would recommend it highly. I paid $165 for it 12-25-2012. A little pricy but it is a great product.

Easy to use, good range, powerful

I connected this to our Virgin hub, to replace an old wifi router that suffered dropouts and needed power cycling every other day. It worked straight out of the box. Dead easy. Great range over 3 floors of our house, on both frequencies.

Good product!

I am using this for over a month now and it's working good as yet. I have bought netgear WiFi dongle adapters for connecting to WiFi on desktops along to make my whole office go wireless.

Works for me

First, let me say this. I used a sliderule when I went to college. After some experimentation, it became clear that my old Cisco router had died a premature death. And I hoped to find a router that would provide better coverage to all areas of my three story condo and hopefully be faster.
Pros:
  • easy to set up
Cons:
  • so far none

Superb Router

The Netgear doesn't particularly look like an expensive piece of kit, but it's quiet sedate looks are more at home in your lounge. I upgraded from the WNDR3700, which was a very good router. In every respect the R6300 is better.

Some what good for everyday use, not for gamers.

I have owned this router for almost a year now, it has great range and you can connect a a lot more devices than you could with any other router. Unfortunately i have had nothing but annoying issues with the router, the port forwarding does not work, extremely high pings while playing games (PC,...

Great features for home or small business

Easy to get setup for quick access and basic use. Takes a bit more time to configure all the extra bells and whistles but there are some nice feature to use such as parental controls, whitelist and blacklist for url addresses, map of devices on your network, etc...
