Netgear R6300 review
The Netgear R6300 was one of the first 802.11ac routers available to buy in the UK. It stands as the company's flagship 'ultimate performance' home router, and offers most of the features you'd expect from a comprehensive home hub.

Netgear R6300 review
The Netgear R6300 AC1750 dual band gigabit 802.11ac router was initially released way back in September 2012. It's as big a name as it is a huge router. At the time, we were reeling from the disappointing 802.11ac showing of the Buffalo AirStation 1750 gigabit dual band router, aka the Buffalo...

Only 20 port forwarding rules!
Unbelievable. A modern router in 2014 dies only allow 20 port forwarding rules! So, don't buy as any tiny and cheap router from any other competitor has normally unlimited port forward rules.
Pros:
- good accuracy
Cons:
- only 20 port forwarding rules allowed

Netgear's R6300 WiFi Router 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit ($199.99) introduces Netgear's 11ac offering to the market. Bricked after 4 months
Like many, I bought this router because I thought high price meant the best router. And it did seem like that at first. I was getting 260 Mbps wireless as opposed to only 80 Mbps on an 18 month old N router. Unfortunately I soon discovered other issues with it.

Netgear AC1750 worked for me
This Netgear router improved my speed of access to wi-fi activity, especially downloading Netflix movies. Staples next day free shipping was even better!

DOA Netgear High End Router
Wanted a fast router for multiple users. While I have been a loyal Netgear (and Dell)customer and this router was easy to setup, it died within 5 minutes. Not sure if it is the power brick or the router itself. Disappointed in quality and waiting for Dell to authorize a return.
