PERFECT
I was using a high powered wifi router but just couldn't stream FULL HD to anything . This unit is brilliant ! Massive difference between all my devices. I stream full HD at they highest level without a hitch now. Highly recommend this unit. easy setup , easy use , the app is very good to use.

DOA Netgear High End Router
Wanted a fast router for multiple users. While I have been a loyal Netgear (and Dell)customer and this router was easy to setup, it died within 5 minutes. Not sure if it is the power brick or the router itself. Disappointed in quality and waiting for Dell to authorize a return.

Disappointed
Probably ok if all you do is surf the web. If you want more than that, you appear to be out of luck. User support is absolutely terrible.
Pros:
- Seems to be fast and handle high data rates
Cons:
- Preset protocol parameters violate protocol specifications
- No way to examine or reset these

Good router
After doing a lot of research about signal drops I found out the changing the 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz wi-fi connections to channels 9 and 161 respectively did the trick for my wireless system making it interference and drop off free.
Pros:
- Great range
- Easy to setup with the NETGEAR Genie application (updating the firmware to the latest version easy too)
- No signal drops in my case
- I have 9 devices connected to this router
- Iphone
Cons:
- None so far

Netgear AC1750 worked for me
This Netgear router improved my speed of access to wi-fi activity, especially downloading Netflix movies. Staples next day free shipping was even better!

Bricked after 4 months
Like many, I bought this router because I thought high price meant the best router. And it did seem like that at first. I was getting 260 Mbps wireless as opposed to only 80 Mbps on an 18 month old N router. Unfortunately I soon discovered other issues with it.

Netgear R6300 WiFi Router 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit
Netgear's R6300 WiFi Router 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit ($199.99) introduces Netgear's 11ac offering to the market. In a rather bold move, Netgear actually uses the "802.11ac" standard in the name of this product, although 802.11ac is yet to be ratified and is not expected to be until sometime next...
Pros:
- Genie software provides easy setup and management
- Supports draft 802.11ac
- Dual USB ports
- Very good performance in 2.4 GHz N-only mode
- IPv6 support
- Runs cool
Cons:
- Bizarre design that limits placement
- Performance not on par with other Netgear dual-bands
- No USB 3.0

Netgear R6300 802.11ac wireless router
We used the Netgear R6300 almost exclusively for at least two months and found it to be rock solid. It distributed our iiNet ADSL2+ connection without any problems and we didn't encounter any stability issues across the wired, wireless or USB interfaces of the router.
Pros:
- Super-fast Wi-Fi
- Good USB sharing performance
- Very reliable performer
Cons:
- Needs 802.11ac adapters to work best
- Hardware design a little awkward
- Parental filters not the easiest to set up

Netgear R6300 review
The Netgear R6300 is the second 11ac wireless router to market, and while far from reaching gigabit speeds its wireless offers relatively solid performance.

Netgear R6300 router review: The second-fastest router we've tested
Many of my favorite routers over the past three years have borne the Netgear brand. The company's first 802.11ac model, the R6300, is an excellent...

- A very fast 802.11ac router
- DLNA media server
- Very good NAS
Cons:
- Bulky industrial design
- No VPN pass-through
- Lacks
