Netgear has gone for a gloss black finish on the front. The Netgear DGN3500 Range Max router 'sits up' on small rubber feet but these are too small and the router doesn't feel well especially stable. Rather than risk knocking it over, we laid the Range Max down flat.

Netgear RangeMax DGN3500 review

Netgear's DGN3500 is a neatly designed Wireless N router that works well, but could still be a little more Mac friendly.

Compact design; USB port for sharing storage devices

Setup software doesn't run on Macs

Netgear RangeMax DGN3500 review

Netgear's DGN3500 is a sleek looking but expensive ADSL router with Gigabit Ethernet and a built in USB storage server. Like Linksys's recent routers, it has internal rather than external antennas, so they can't be upgraded to increase the power of your wireless signal.
