Surface Complete - 45 Day limit

* I would like to first note that have put this review under the seller experience; however, that option is not available, since the "seller" is Microsoft/Amazon. I have purchased more than 15 Surface devices and have yet to use any warranties. These are very solid devices (5-star).

Great computer, handwriting recognition needs improvement

I purchased an extra power supply, docking station, display port to 4K, and pen. My only issue has been when writing. Stray marks causes pauses in recognition. It happens if you use your finger or the pen. The only solution is to exit the program and renter.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)

Microsoft's dream of merging the laptop with the tablet is realising bit by bit. The Surface Pro is a device that screams confidently that the dream has already come true. Should we pay heed though
Pros:
  • A touchscreen display par excellence
  • Crisp audio
  • Magical accessories that complete the Surface Pro
Cons:
  • Lukewarm performance
  • Cumbersome to handle at times
  • Those magical accessories are expensive

Good for everyday use.

I work in computer design and have found that although the touch screen helps give a hands on touch to each work the computer itself confronts problems when rendering a 3D video, made on 3D Max. I would suggest investing in the 7i instead of 5i....
Pros:
  • Touch Screen
Cons:
  • Overheats with heavier programs

I am being rather slow to get to grips with it. I know it will be fabulous but being an 80 year old who has very little time to myself being a full time carer it is taking me more time.

The best mobile productivity device I've ever used

Performance on the Surface Pro 3 is excellent. For all general productivity, the core i5 used here is very fast, and because the storage is all ssd, the system is snappy and responsive; it's definitely comparable to the better ultrabooks on the market, and never feels sluggish or slow.

Too Expensive

Advice, go to Amazon and look there, you'll find better offers on it for a much cheaper price. Even with the shipping charges to get it you aren't close to that offered place
Pros:
  • Nothing
Cons:
  • Price is too high...I bought mine for a lot less on Amazon
  • It came brand new and saved me a lot of money

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 (i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB, SSD, Win 10 Tablet) - Excellent review

Summary: The Core i5-based Surface Pro combines ultrabook components with a (chunky) 10.6in. tablet form factor to deliver decent performance and excellent build quality. However, a few design issues, missing features and, above all, disappointing battery life suggest you'd be wise to wait and see...
Pros:
  • Solid, elegant hardware design, Runs Windows 8 Pro and legacy software, Ultrabook-level performance, Supports pressure-sensitive pen input
Cons:
  • Disappointing battery life, Kickstand isn't adjustable, No desktop or keyboard dock available, Desktop scaling issues when used with a large external monitor, Lacks GPS and NFC, No mobile broadband option, Stylus needs a storage location within the chassis

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 (i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB, SSD, Win 10 Tablet) - Excellent review

The Surface Pro is an interesting hybrid of a tablet and laptop. Unlike its little sibling (Surface RT), which is considered more of a tablet, the Surface Pro has more affinity to the ultrabook.
Pros:
  • * Great, solid build and design, * Powerful hardware, * Large storage, * Full-sized USB 3.0 port, * Full HD resolution

Surface Pro 3 review: Is the third time the charm?

The Surface Pro line has always struck me as offering good solutions to the wrong problem. I remain tremendously sympathetic to Microsoft's broader objectives. Microsoft's argument is that it's silly to carry around an iPad and a MacBook Air; you can have one piece of hardware that fills both roles,...
Pros:
  • Beautiful design
  • Beautiful screen
  • Packs so much into so little
  • Neat OneNote integration
Cons:
  • The dearth of USB ports
  • The touchpad remains mediocre
  • Some people will find it expensive
  • It's still the best laptop replacement that can't actually replace a laptop
