MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8GB GDDR5X

I purchased two of these cards to SLI. Personally I would just use one of these cards, it has enough power to run all the games that I have made it run. Two looks cool but that is about it.

Switched from an MSI GTX980. After about 3 weeks of use, I can say the following: + Quiet even under load in gaming mode. + Equivalent power consumption gtx980. + PERFORMANCE, found it hard to imagine that there would be such a difference between one generation. - The price.

Beautiful build quality; LEDs work well; Fans turn off at idle; Very; very quiet under load; Software OC mode

Limited OC potential on core

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G Review

In case you weren't aware, there's a new graphics card king in town – the GTX 1080 – and it's only natural to see Nvidia's board partners get heavily involved. Being top of the food chain always means high pricing in the hardware market, and a lack of competition from AMD means the GTX 1080 is...

Are you having a hard time keeping up with the name changes of your favorite products? If you're not, I surely am and I evaluate products from different manufacturers every day. The funny thing is it's not only one manufacturer that's doing this it's all of them.
