Still waiting on response from MSI SUPPORT for over a month...

I tried contacting MSI and have yet to receive ANY type of response ( I will not accept a refurbished product because I purchased a new product for a reason; I don't want Lice, Dust-Mites, fleas, cockroaches or any other pests delivered to me in a refurb )...

Decent card - plays most games with good fps ( Issues with GTA 5 loading from SSD; has issues loading textures quickly enough but that is likely a poor console port issue

Stutters like it is in SLI Mode from time to time.. LEDs do not work as advertised ( You can change the MSI Logo color, but none of the other LEDs can be changed ); I set color 1 to blue and color 2 to green; MSI appeared blue but there was no green to be seen ( only a lot of red )..

Not as advertised

Nothing in the box fir the advertised £43 cash back. Also the disks were missing from the box so no drivers or control software. The card also had trouble being recognised. Not exactly a quality experience.

MSI's GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G is a well-built, blistering video card that's hard to fault for any modern demand: 4K gaming, VR. Our only quibble was availability at this writing.

Runs cool and quiet; Better performance than the GTX 1080 Founders Edition; Mature software; Snazzy RGB lighting

At time of review; hard to find; Not quite as fast as Zotac's top GTX 1080 card; One LED is locked on red

MSI GTX1080 Goodness

Nice graphics power for 4K resolution. The MSI cooling works great and is very quiet. Under low usage it spins down and when it spins up the sound is minimal. The MSI gaming app works but I did have some issues with it on a different MSI card.

This card is easily overclockable, and will handle almost anything you throw ...

After replacing my MSI 980 with this card, I can now finally play the latest gen games in 4k with almost all settings at max. This card is easily overclockable, and will handle almost anything you throw at it. Not to mention it looks beautiful in my case.

Just Awesome!

It may be overpriced compared to similar boards but at only 280mm long it makes for a very powerfull ITX build.

Super Fast - Hit 1949Mhz on Boost out of the box Quiet - Never even notice when the fan kicks in...if ever Cool - Never went past 62C playing Quantum Break @ 4k/Ultra Oculus CV1 experience is much better compared to my GTX970

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G review

Obviously Nvidia unleashed Fury (pun intended) with their 16nm Pascal processors. They nailed it performance, TDP and temps wise, but unfortunately did price the 1080 series very steep.
