Obviously Nvidia unleashed Fury (pun intended) with their 16nm Pascal processors. They nailed it performance, TDP and temps wise, but unfortunately did price the 1080 series very steep.

The race to produce the best premium graphics card is on. Competitors in said race need to be an Nvidia partner, for the GeForce GTX 1080, released last month, is the head honcho. We've already seen Asus and Inno3D have a go and offer something slightly different to each other.
Beautiful build quality; LEDs work well; Fans turn off at idle; Very; very quiet under load; Software OC mode
Limited OC potential on core
It may be overpriced compared to similar boards but at only 280mm long it makes for a very powerfull ITX build.
Super Fast - Hit 1949Mhz on Boost out of the box Quiet - Never even notice when the fan kicks in...if ever Cool - Never went past 62C playing Quantum Break @ 4k/Ultra Oculus CV1 experience is much better compared to my GTX970

In case you weren't aware, there's a new graphics card king in town – the GTX 1080 – and it's only natural to see Nvidia's board partners get heavily involved. Being top of the food chain always means high pricing in the hardware market, and a lack of competition from AMD means the GTX 1080 is...
MSI's GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G is a well-built, blistering video card that's hard to fault for any modern demand: 4K gaming, VR. Our only quibble was availability at this writing.
Runs cool and quiet; Better performance than the GTX 1080 Founders Edition; Mature software; Snazzy RGB lighting
At time of review; hard to find; Not quite as fast as Zotac's top GTX 1080 card; One LED is locked on red
Switched from an MSI GTX980. After about 3 weeks of use, I can say the following: + Quiet even under load in gaming mode. + Equivalent power consumption gtx980. + PERFORMANCE, found it hard to imagine that there would be such a difference between one generation. - The price.

Terrific performance; Runs cool and quiet; Strong afterburner driver software; Attractive lighting with many customization options
Not the fastest card on the market; Limited availability; Some lighting configuration limitations
Are you having a hard time keeping up with the name changes of your favorite products? If you're not, I surely am and I evaluate products from different manufacturers every day. The funny thing is it's not only one manufacturer that's doing this it's all of them.
Ability to Overclock; Comes with backplate; Low Power Consumption; 180W Gaming TDP; Price Point; Performance; Aesthetically Pleasing Appearance; Low Overall Temperatures; Barely Audible Fan Noise; SLI Capability; RGB LED; Well Thought Out Gaming APP

Been using it for the past 10 months..had to sell my kidney to buy this but apart from that its all good.
I tried contacting MSI and have yet to receive ANY type of response ( I will not accept a refurbished product because I purchased a new product for a reason; I don't want Lice, Dust-Mites, fleas, cockroaches or any other pests delivered to me in a refurb )...
Decent card - plays most games with good fps ( Issues with GTA 5 loading from SSD; has issues loading textures quickly enough but that is likely a poor console port issue
Stutters like it is in SLI Mode from time to time.. LEDs do not work as advertised ( You can change the MSI Logo color, but none of the other LEDs can be changed ); I set color 1 to blue and color 2 to green; MSI appeared blue but there was no green to be seen ( only a lot of red )..
