Excellent quality speakers for price.

I listen to classic rock, hard rock and blues rock. These speakers handle anything. The bass is true quality and adjustable. the mids and highs awesome. the sub makes all the difference in the sound expirience[...]a little static initially that went away with use.

Added features; Comfortable; Compact Design; Easy To Use; Great Sound; Great Sound Quality; Nice high treble; Real bass

Static at first in sub; Static at first speaker

Living in Ireland where FM radio has become so overcrowded that it has caused me to switch off, I tried and got fed up with what I refer to as intermittent Internet radio. Desperation led me to made up a radio with a TV satellite receiver set to the quality UK radio stations.

Pretty good for the price I paid

I'd been researching these for a couple months and finally hit them on sale for under $60. The replaced a pair of speakers and an Altec Lansing subwoofer that I'd owned for over 20 years. Overall, they are an improvement but I'm a little disappointed by the lack of treble or high range.

2.1 speaker system

certainly improved the sound quality of my flat screen tv...the speaker/sound quality on flat screens are lacking and tend to be piercing at high volume, even with a high bass setting, these Z523 Speakers are a good buy and at 40watt are nice and loud..

Logitech Speaker System Z523

Harnessing the power of deep bass, without spoiling the sound with distortion has always been one of Logitech's strengths-in its more expensive speaker sets, that is. In the company's lower-priced options, however, like the $99.99 (direct) Z523 2.1 PC speaker system, a common problem emerges: It's...

Speakers can sound a bit too bright, and occasionally tinny; Cables are hard-wired, can't be replaced without repair; No remote control

Logitech Z523

Granted, it doesn't deliver all of the sonic excellence of some pricier computer speakers, such as Harman Kardon's SoundSticks III (Est. $150) , let alone audiophile-grade computer speakers such as the Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 (Est.

Powerful bass; Lots of connection options; Multi-directional speakers

High ranges can sound tinny; No remote

LOGITECH SPKR SYSTEM Z523 ONLY

deep bass (kind of) 1.)No treble adjustment on the speakers2.)The bass is to more than powering.three.)The bass is a mid variety frequency that interferes with vocals and high frequency sounds.four.)High frequency sound is not present and causes these speakers to sound muffled.

"Magnificent for any and all possible application."

This kit has served me incredibly well, whether it be running audio from my PS3, DVDs, PC or Phone, it performs perfectly. For gamers especially, running your console through the RCA and your iPod through the 3.5 jack at the same time means you can have your own music running instead of some of the...

The sound on these speakers underwhelm me. I thought with the sub woofer and 40 watts the sound would be comparable or better than a set of speakers that came standard with the computer from many years ago. I have turned to bass to almost the deepest setting and it sounds hollow and tinny.
