Overall Great

I wish the mouse pad was a little smaller and the page down, up, end, and home keys were included, but it works GREAT.

Flimsy

As others have said, the base at the touchpad is horribly flimsy. The touchpad is nowhere compared with any apple touchpad I have used.

Even good for coding

I got this to see if it would work well with Ubuntu, and indeed it does. Very flexibly, in fact. Gestures can be handled in many different ways, but here Logitech chose to map them to keyboard shortcuts.
Pros:
  • Although designed for Windows, it works great with Ubuntu! A few minutes in Ubuntu's Keyboard control panel and Compiz Config let me customize the behavior of the supported gestures very well for my Ubuntu workflow
  • Good trackpad too
Cons:
  • Trackpad not as nice as a Mac or some Asus laptops I've used, but not bad
  • With a list price of $99 new, one should be able to expect excellent tracking rather than merely good
  • But even with that, in all fairness it is pretty good, and at the refurb price a very good deal.

Two Stars

The mouse pad does not seem to be built with high quality. It is too "loose".

one problem so far

pros: advanced typing mechanics silent long battery life with AA batteries (i use energizer ultimate lithium) so you do not have to worry about recharging slim and fairly light cons: lacks backlight design flaw (i do not think it is a defect because i have already replaced the keyboard with logitech...

Keyboard Fine - Touchpad Mediocre

I started to write a book that no one will read, so here's the abbreviated version. There's no finesse/precision to this touchpad. I don't know if that's a windows limitation or a Logitech issue, but half the time it doesn't register my taps (clicks), the rest of the time it's highlighting entire...

Excellent alternative to KB/mouse combo

Do not understand the other reviewer stating that the touchpad movements were not compatible with them. What? That is the point of a touchpad. There is no special way to hold your wrist.
Pros:
  • Durable
  • Easy to Use
  • Quality
  • Good Value
  • Comfortable
  • compatible
  • well built
  • stays put
Cons:
  • not adjustable

Close but not quite.

Nice to look at, but looks can only take you so far. The touchpad is the biggest downfall.
Pros:
  • - Solid keyboard response
  • Comfortable to type on
Cons:
  • - Touchpad
  • Exceptionally mushy
  • Poor multi-touch implementation
