Fantastic all round!

Brought for work application.
I spend a bit of time reviewing security footing for work the scroll on this mouse takes the work away one flick the scroll keeps rolling on and on as it is so will balanced its made this job much easier.Also this puppy fits my hand like a glove Thanks Mighty Ape.

Excellent mouse
The Logitech M705 is an excellent mouse - the shape fits very naturally into my hand. The best bit is the ability to spin the weighted scroll wheel, which allows you to rapidly move up or down long documents or webpages.

The battery life is probably the real key selling point with this mouse, as reflected by the name – Marathon. 3 years does seem exaggerated, a time which would be very difficult to accurately test.

Quick, responsive mouse
Love this mouse - it's fast and accurate. Slightly smaller than a normal size, it still fits my hand nicely. I like the on/off switch and the button options.

Slick, good weight and amazing battery life.
I joined my current company in Jan 2011 and the setup I was allocated included the M705. I have never had a good experience in the past with wireless mice as I found they were not accurate and the battery life was poor.

Don't buy this
I thought I was replacing the VX Nano, which was the best mouse I've ever owned, and which, for some odd reason, Logitech has apparently decided to quit making. The marathon is a full sized mouse, but other than that, no real difference. . . UNTIL YOU BEGIN TO TRY TO USE IT.

Terrible
Horrible. Think the sensor is not up to snuff. Use on high res monitor (24") may have exacerbated the issue. Caveat emptor-especially if used to higher DPI sensor mice.

- Side buttons well situated for thumb use

- Terrible tracking
- Skipped/floated everywhere
- Hard to hit links/buttons on screen
- Size too small
