Great Headset when it works.
I would wait to buy this product until Logitech fixes the driver issues. Otherwise it sounds great if you do not use a VOIP program while playing a game.
Pros:
- Looks great
- Microphone sounds great
- It has great 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound with the drivers
- Has 3.5mm jacks
- It is highly noise canceling so you can't hear outside noises
- The drivers look nice and have good control
Cons:
- There is an issue with the drivers and VOIP programs like Mumble where if you are playing a game and using a VOIP program
- The drivers will cut out all sound and you will have to unplug and replug the USB and restart the game and VOIP program

Audio to USB is absolutely terrible!
When I plug in the audio to USB, it constantly disconnects and for some reason doesn't allow me to use my microphone. This may be because of the lack of support for Linux, but audio is the main issue I'm talking about here. When you plug in the audio jacks, the headset works fine.

Logitech G430 headset Fantastic you will not beat them and value for money
value for money agents the others , you will not beat it. fantastic sound quality in all areas top range and bottom range. You feel like you are there in the game taking shots rockets. only you don't get killed ha ha : ). so comfortable you can wear them all day.

Logitech G-series G430 Gaming Headset
Logitech has been on the top of their game lately, especially in regards to their lineup of gaming products. I recently reviewed the Logitech G700s Gaming Mouse, and was extremely impressed with it.
Pros:
- Fantastic
- gorgeous design
- comfortable
- great sound
Cons:
- None

the mic is clear, not perfect, but good for the headset's price. music sounds really good, especially metal and rock the 7.1 surround is not that good, but it's acceptable, don't expect it to be perfect
Pros:
- the bass/treble balance is great
Cons:
- your hair might get stuck in the foam padding
- it's not that big of a deal though

Good for a while, but goes down in quality after a bit.
I've seen a lot of professional twitch.tv streamers use these such as Ex- league of legends professional players and such that makes me wonder if for heavy use headsets that these would be the best in terms of quality to longevity ratio.
Pros:
- Good microphone with good flexibility and sound quality
- Ear coverings fit well over most heads and has a comfortable feel to it
Cons:
- After 1 and a half years of relatively heavy use, the pivot on the ear muffs wears down and brakes
- This is indicative of the plastic used for the pivots in the headset
- I've ordered this headset twice over the course of 3 -2 1/2 years and I'm just going to move onto a sturdier headset due to the...

Good gaiming headset for the cost
The sound from games is clear and directional. I even pick up on sounds I did not notice with my previous headset (but maybe that's a game update). They seem fairly well built from what I can tell so far, but I wouldn't want to stretch them out any without fear of breaking something. Two issues: 1.

Great Headphone for PC, however...
As far as the quality for the microphone and speaker, they work perfectly. However,since I have a Macbook pro there was a learning curve involved for getting to work properly. Even with the USB, it didn't quite work until I found the correct connection for the jacks.
