Broken drivers and so-so sound quality..

Windows 7 (x64) Drivers from Logitech are broken. If you get lucky, they will work. If you don't, then you just paid extra for 7.1 sound card that doesn't work. The headphones without 7.1 sound good but are minor upgrade in quality than cheaper Microsoft LX-3000.

Does what it is Supposed 2

I was using the Plantronics GameCom before I bought these headsets, they were really good. Logitech G430 may not be better but is on par with the sound quality, The surround sound works good but it can only amaze you if you are a gamer.

A couple of really really good headphones that partially withstand strikes happen a couple of times that the kids got to taste concrete floors or concrete walls when they went badly in CS: GO. But they still worked for it and delivered good sound both before and after.

"Logitech G430 Headset review"

I bought this headset a while back because I was in need of a new pair. These were pretty much the first thing I saw when I entered the store, the cool and unique design caught my eye instantly. I decided to buy them mostly because of the brand and the design.

Design; 7.1 surround

have to choose between 7.1 surround and use of microphone due to some glitch

I've had these headphones for about a year and they finally broke, replacing them for the g930's 'which were on sale' But before they broke they lasted me quite a long time for the price. They were comfortable and would buy another pair if my current ones ever break again.

Sounds pretty nice, color of the headphones are neat; Microphone is pretty good as well

Top part of headphones are a tad weak; cushions are flimsyish

Logitech G430 Review - Game in Comfort

"You get what you pay for" is especially salient when it comes to gaming tech, but sometimes a product offers more than you'd expect for the price. The Logitech G430 ($80 list, $60 on Amazon) is one of the cheaper gaming headsets on the market, and yet you get decent audio quality, smart product...

Very comfortable; Smart physical design; Decent sound

Limited software features; Music sounds unimpressive; Surround sound doesn't deliver

Mediocre at best.

If you're a stickler for sound stay away from these. They sound horrible. Really hollow, quiet and tinny. They're lightweight but are still so uncomfortable. Within minutes the top of your head and ears will hurt.

Poor/Low sound

I bought this a few months ago and have been disappointed in it. While the mic offers perfect sound , the volume of the headset is incredibly low when using the USb dongle. Very sad that noone else reports this, search the net for reviews on the G430 and low sound and you'll see what I mean

Good but breaks easily

Sound is great. Mic is meh. The plastic frame can snap easily. I would recommend getting a better headset in the price range.

- The sound quality is amazing - The mic is okay; They kinda sound bad but it works - Lightweight - Long cable

- Materials used are cheap quality; The plastic frame snaps easily and that's how mine broke after a few months; It snapped while I was removing it from my head - The top padding is not soft enough for the head; The top of my head hurts after a few hours of using it.
