I love this headset the sound quality is really great you can literally hear footsteps and everything around you HOWEVER they break so easily.. i have bought 3 of them in the past year and they all broke in the same place ( on the inside where the screws are ) and when its broken it becomes wobbly...

Poor/Low sound
I bought this a few months ago and have been disappointed in it. While the mic offers perfect sound , the volume of the headset is incredibly low when using the USb dongle. Very sad that noone else reports this, search the net for reviews on the G430 and low sound and you'll see what I mean

best headset in this price range.
This headset is really worth the money! Friends can hear my voice clearly, I can hear all sounds perfectly in this. The digital surround sound also works well. You have two options, to use Dolby Surround sound OR Logitech's proprietary surround sound. Headset fits perfectly on the head.

I've had these headphones for about a year and they finally broke, replacing them for the g930's 'which were on sale' But before they broke they lasted me quite a long time for the price. They were comfortable and would buy another pair if my current ones ever break again.
Pros:
- Sounds pretty nice, color of the headphones are neat
- Microphone is pretty good as well
Cons:
- Top part of headphones are a tad weak
- cushions are flimsyish

Great Headphone for PC, however...
As far as the quality for the microphone and speaker, they work perfectly. However,since I have a Macbook pro there was a learning curve involved for getting to work properly. Even with the USB, it didn't quite work until I found the correct connection for the jacks.

Good gaiming headset for the cost
The sound from games is clear and directional. I even pick up on sounds I did not notice with my previous headset (but maybe that's a game update). They seem fairly well built from what I can tell so far, but I wouldn't want to stretch them out any without fear of breaking something. Two issues: 1.

Good for a while, but goes down in quality after a bit.
I've seen a lot of professional twitch.tv streamers use these such as Ex- league of legends professional players and such that makes me wonder if for heavy use headsets that these would be the best in terms of quality to longevity ratio.
Pros:
- Good microphone with good flexibility and sound quality
- Ear coverings fit well over most heads and has a comfortable feel to it
Cons:
- After 1 and a half years of relatively heavy use, the pivot on the ear muffs wears down and brakes
- This is indicative of the plastic used for the pivots in the headset
- I've ordered this headset twice over the course of 3 -2 1/2 years and I'm just going to move onto a sturdier headset due to the...
