I bought this camera wanting a nice 720p HD recording camera. I went a little overboard and decided to get the 1080p HD variant and got the 615HD from Logitech. From my point of view, I use it mainly for Skype, and occasionally for pictures. I must say the picture quality is brilliant.

I was actually unable to use your device. The store copied down my phone number incorrectly and ended up leaving messages at a Jewsih Community Center. In the mean time I bought a cheaper version on line.

Cable far too short

I purchased this a year or so ago to do streaming of physical media and skype calls. There's no way to get a sharp image, forever blurry, forever out of focus, and the settings are hard to manage. Looking for MAC- No way.

I have had lots of products off Logitech. They produce lots of good stuff. In this case however, I feel that they are under par. It is not the worst web cam I have used, yet no where near the quality which some independent reviews suggest or what I expect for the price.

Mistakingly purchased this in a hurry for a regular desktop pc, not realizing it was for a laptop. Great price, nice and clear video as well as audio. Easy to set up. I use this for streaming as well as Skype and other communication programs. My only dislike is that the usb cable is not very long.

Works fine with Skype but will not autofocus with FaceTime on a 2012 mac mini running 10.9.1. FaceTime and QuickTime cannot therefore use it. Microphone is fine with all apps. Logitech doesn't seem very interested in providing drivers, and the Mac UVC driver is obviously limited.

Logitech's C615 webcam is a high-end model that's compatible with PC and Mac. It isn't designed to replace the top-of-the-range C910, but falls just behind it in Logitech's webcam range.

This webcam is a decent offering from Logitech, with good audio and video quality and it can also take still images. The base of the webcam is very versatile and can sit just fine on my Samsung LED monitor, so those with new thin displays need not worry, this camera will sit on it just fine.
