The usb extension cord was missing from the product. I emailed them, and they never replied. There are 2 hardware parts in the retail package, one is the camera and one is the extension cord. Bulk packaging should include all hardware. The ad did not mention it was shorting on the hardware.

I have had lots of products off Logitech. They produce lots of good stuff. In this case however, I feel that they are under par. It is not the worst web cam I have used, yet no where near the quality which some independent reviews suggest or what I expect for the price.

Mistakingly purchased this in a hurry for a regular desktop pc, not realizing it was for a laptop. Great price, nice and clear video as well as audio. Easy to set up. I use this for streaming as well as Skype and other communication programs. My only dislike is that the usb cable is not very long.

Due to having to do lots of video conferencing calls I decided to purchase a decent webcam to replace the one built into my Laptop which just wasn't up to the job. This one is really easy to set up, the image is great and the auto focus really does work.

I was pretty excited about this HD 8 mpx webcam and it's specs. However, after using in our lab I was disappointed. Doesn't focus crisp images past 1-1/2 feet. I guess I expected at least 5-10ft for a group. Although it may be HD, it does not give a good crisp video capture.

I was actually unable to use your device. The store copied down my phone number incorrectly and ended up leaving messages at a Jewsih Community Center. In the mean time I bought a cheaper version on line.

Good quality. I just wish the cord was longer and that the software actually worked. I use the camera software that is already on my computer because their downloadable software isn't user friendly (at least not to me. I can only get it to do even shots).

Works fine with Skype but will not autofocus with FaceTime on a 2012 mac mini running 10.9.1. FaceTime and QuickTime cannot therefore use it. Microphone is fine with all apps. Logitech doesn't seem very interested in providing drivers, and the Mac UVC driver is obviously limited.

Logitech has gone back to the drawing board and decided to redesign their latest line of webcams. Today's consumer demand great HD videos and photos, whether they are at home or on the go.

I've had excellent luck with this webcam - probably the best I've ever bought. The nicest feature is that it works on all my OS....
