Logitech has launched two new HD recording webcams, namely the C310 and the C525. We received the C525 for testing, which features 720p video recording, a compact folding stand and new Logitech webcam software that offers entertaining photo and video effects.

The Logitech C525 Webcam is a stand alone portable webcam that is compatible with Windows (Windows XP SP2/SP3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7). It comes embedded in a foldable contraption that you can "clip" on a monitor or similar.

This is a solid webcam that captures great images and is a strong choice overall. It takes 720p HD video and you can use it to take still images with 8MP resolution. This won't beat out a dedicated digital camera, but it is better than most other webcams around its price.

This not my first web-cam but this one is by far better then my other one. Which my first one worked fine, but since I changed my PC to windows 8 I had to buy my C525. It even has a wider angle,picture clarity as well as microphone is better .

This is the second one of these I have bought; one's at home, the other my office. No one has complained about the sound or the video quality. It seems fairly sensitive to low lighting conditions. I like the light that comes on to remind you, "You're on the air!

The highest resolution you can use for Video Chat on Skype, Windows Live Messenger, etc. is 720p, and this Logitech C525 does it very well. Clear, crisp picture, accurate color, reasonable quality in low-light, and a good microphone are all strong points here.

I am probably NOT the best reviewer for this item because I don't really know anything about them. I researched them a bit and bought this one after having a need for SKYPE with an associate in my business. It has worked VERY well for this, and I am happy with his ability to see me and hear me.

i purchased thiss webcam because i wanted people to see me better it is a great camera great sound and picture quality autofocus also works very well the only thing i dont find perfect is the fact that in skype it only shows widescreen when internet is fast but i guess that is a problem of skype not
