inexpensive, does what it needs to, pretty good picture quality and very little lag in refreshing the image. painless P&P installation, is instantly recognized by Skype / W7. rating of 4/5 is because it's just a webcam, it was never meant to do exceptional stuff in the first place.

I bought this camera so I could skype my parents and friends whilst not in the same city anymore, and it has performed exactly as I had hoped :) I think it's well priced camera for what it is, and I have found that 720p is more than enough for social video calls.

The video quality is good for this price range. The microphone is great but the mount is not so good. Great webcam in the mid range segment.

These are very good cameras. We are currently using two of them. All of our computers are using Linux Operating systems and these cameras perform superbly with Linux.

For capturing your ugly face and showing it people on the internet. This will do.

Worked right out of the box; Plugged it in; Windows 7 saw it and downloaded the drivers; Done; I was debating between this and the C920; Couldn't justify double the price for 1080p instead of 720p; My face isn't pretty enough for 1080p; And chances are, neither is yours.

Bought to Skype with GF while away on business, does its job very well. Auto focuses and follows their face when they move, but that feature can be turned off very easily by someone who doesn't know how computers work (her), so that's a plus.

This is a solid webcam that captures great images and is a strong choice overall. It takes 720p HD video and you can use it to take still images with 8MP resolution. This won't beat out a dedicated digital camera, but it is better than most other webcams around its price.

Great webcam that has quite a nice autofocus. It has a controlling software which allows you to digital zoom and pan. There's also digital face tracking feature. Quite a good package. The video quality is also fluid in 720p . Great buy!
