Not as advertised, arrived two weeks late.
Doesn't have the advertised software on it (came with Windows 10, advertised as Windows 7 Pro). Waste of time (arrived very late) and money.

The ThinkPad T line developed by Lenovo is a very good selling name. This series will always be remembered for making superb mainstream business systems. If you're into excellent keyboards, smashing performance and best materials, you should totally check out the notebooks in this line-up.

Great laptop on a budget
I went with this model because it's a "proven" battle laptop that runs great on it's i7 + 8gb capabilities. It's in pretty good condition even though it's an older model and it runs great (I'm using Office, Photoshop, mySQL, etc.).

LENOVO T420 INTEL CORE i5-2540M 2.60GHZ 4GB RAM 900X1600 SCREEN
Loaded with Win 7 Pro and ssd drive this unit is very fast and boots in 15 sec. the high resolution screen is a plus. I use like a desktop so don't know about battery life.

Never should have offered.
I fell in love with the Think Pad the moment I got it. Everything about it was 'me'. The tech at Staples checked it out and found the battery ready to fail. He called the referbisher and they agreed to replace the battery.

The T420 met my needs for a portable system that can handle word processing, spreadsheets and general web surfing. This is a refurbished system, but the one that I received was packaged well and looked like it had been well taken care of in its former life.
